  3. or mark (topless) at Zen garage, i know he was doing some good deals on uprated tubs :)
  4. could be a miss caused by dodgy coil pack or injector connectors - check those are ok & no signs of corrosion. replace or clean as ness have you checked your plugs? check your O2 sensors, either with a conzult or putting the ECU in diag mode 2 clean connectors to PTU
  5. prove it

  9. Asdas also! must be thousands TBH! we are on about 30+ vehicles now just in our workshop!! :wack:
  10. AFAIK its affecting most makes, although on our cars it seems to be just late vehicles possibly with widebands.
  11. it seems to be a SE issue
  12. what is?? i *was* only joking!! PS. nice 1st post!
  13. yup same thing! never seen a diesel with a lambda probe tho as they run in an excess of air anyway & dont rely on keeping to Lambda values. sure its not a temp sensor? later cars with particulate filters have DPF upstream & downstream temp sensors.
  14. no, dont have O2 sensors in diesels ;)
  15. Update!! also cases of filling up at Asda's! avoid all supermarket fuel! LOL!!
  16. err, yea. we think andyp broke it LOL! it is being looked into!! usual mods i suppose. intake, zorst, chip, 16psi boost, lightweight flywheel, underdrive pulley, clutch suspension mods, RLTC. ~400FWHP
  17. I beat a guy a new in his new M3. just! they are bloody quick. if your standard then it will beat you! when he saw my mates out he said "f*** that zeds quick!" :hyper:
  18. TBH most of our customers will prob use tesco regular - i didnt mean it was just the 99RON ;)
  19. no probs, just dont pass the message on to any merc owner - were making £450+vat per car!!
  20. i know, have used them myself in the past. wont now tho!! :x:
  21. we have had a very large no of customers coming into us with O2 sensor failures in the last week or so (on Mercedes), all indications seem to point to a problem with Tesco's fuel (at least here in Kent) although this has not yet been confirmed. I have just been on the phone to Tradings Standards who confirm that they have had very large nos of complaints accross all manufacturers    please be aware as I know many people use Tescos 99RON fuel!!!
  22. LOL! you sure you wasnt trying to make a mould?!?! :x:
  23. HC is unburnt fuel, caused by misfires, incomplete burning in the cyl. 1 point to note is that if a non cat test fails on HC at idle (but CO is within limits) then the HC should be retested at 2000rpm. if it is under 1200ppm (& it prob will be!) at that speed then the vehicle would pass the emissions test ;)
