  5. because sick, evil bastards like that dont deserve the right to live, if they have taken a life, what right do they have to carry on living?? so what do we do - lock them up for life?? whats the point? thats not living anyway? lock them up for 20yrs then let them out - what if they do it again?? if someone done that to my family id kill them myself - no probs - no regrets about thinking like that. not having a pop at you glen - thats just my way of thinking, your entitled to yours.

well, the one with 100k miles & no service history id avoid like the plauge!! the uk car with 75k sounds VERY cheap, but with fsh could be a bargain - just get a good inspection done on it how many miles on the jap one?? many imports have no s/h. as for colour - its what YOU like that matters, cant advise you on that!!! ;) what ever one you go for, have it inspected & take it for a good long road test, motorway/fast a roads & round town if poss. watch for excessive smoking from the exhausts, carry out a ecu diag to check for any faults etc. its easy to look past all the faults on these and get carried away & buy one, look carefully!! it could be costly to put right. it took me months of looking to get the right one.
  12. john - i can usually get a good deal on wheels & tyres, OZ wheels are nice & can deffo get discount on these - let me know or chat to you about it next week :)
  13. jeesh, dont think i could kill anything on the roads at the mo with my clutch slipping so bad. didnt really need to post this - just got fed up seeing timmy's name as the last post on every forum!! :p

  15. if you fancy a bit of a run down to kent next sunday, a few of us are meeting up: Kent meet
  16. look at it this way: if the insurance company stump up for new ic's & turbos - you may as well get some uprated ones!!!!! :)
  17. Jeffs on this board, in the traders section (zedword). deffo worth getting the bits from Courtesy, esp if your gonna be replacing a lot of parts (delivery costs make it not worthwhile if your only getting a few cheap bits) if your having the cambelt replaced, many replace the water pump & a few other bits & bobs at the same time, Courtesy do a kit: Timing belt kit, check your year & model. they are extremely helpful, & will save you a lot of money (plus you'll prob get the bits quicker than if you ordered here in the uk!!) hth

ok, good clean UK manual TT's = hard to come by it seems (tho I got one :D ) & its not gonna happen for £5k, paid £7k for mine on a L reg Imports are more abundant it would seem, and usually a little cheaper, although the insurance on these is more and the majority of insurance co's wont even touch them imports also available without turbos (na) if you so wish, and normally have a few mods on as soon as they come into the country. DONT EVER ask whether manual boxes are better than autos on this place!!!! starts sooooooooooo many arguments lol!!! I suggest you hang around this place for a while to get a feel for these things, they arnt cheap to run (as you'll find out!) but are a great car. ps you cant post in all the sections till you subscribe.
