  1. actually it was K.I.T.T. - but to be honest if you start trying to correct them then it will probably just make it worse!!!:lol: just tell her to fookin walk home!!
  2. the problem with running HIDs as main beam is when you flash the lights or switch main beam on & off it takes a while for HIDs to fire up, not good for light output or for the HID units themselves!!
  3. too slow!! you snooze, you lose!! :wheelchair:
  4. Mike at MJP would be your best bet :)
  5. stop being stupid :slap: - you know you'll regret it :chinese:
  6. Also if you just take the kick plate trims off the sills you can do the whole length of the inner sill front to rear through the holes for the fixing screws :)
  7. yes mate - they usually come with a long nozzle to get right into sills & panels that sprays in a circular pattern to coat all sides of the cavity :) ebay or find a motor factors that do paint supplies for bodyshops - they will have them
  8. tight arse - even if you did spend that much on wax its half a tank of fuel!!! :clown: up to you but would (did) personally do it properly with wax - once in it will seal for many years.
  9. yea, and a good few litres will just come out LOL  you can buy the stuff in bulk if you wanted to but it is nice & free flowing when it comes out & offers far better long term protection!! or just stick to some Mazola in your sills :cowboy:
  10. why not do it properly & get some cavity wax LOL!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1311&_nkw=cavity+wax&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  11. does it reset if you switch the ignition off & on again?
  12. hi bud, if it limits to around 3000rpm then I would suspect a faulty MAF - if it is just a general lack of power then it is going into limp mode which shuts the turbo off - a variety of things can cause this - air leaks in the intake system, EGR valve faults, vacuum faults to the turbo regulator transducer, blocked cats etc which all affect the boost pressure. really it needs a run with a diagnostic tool that can check live data to see what boost pressure etc is being seen by the ECU if no fault codes are stored (which would in itself be unusual if it is going into limp mode!)
  13. 'The brochure stated: "No hairdressers at the accommodation". We’re trainee hairdressers - will we be OK staying there?':lol::lol:
  14. Yup - the 4motion system is far inferior to the true quattro system & as above the A3 is Golf running gear. Winter tyres are a must even with a 4x4 car. I had a ML that I ran for a while & it had the wider wheels & road tyres. was shit in the snow LOL!!
  15. I used to be well into Martial Arts - have not trained for a few years sinced I moved house & really miss it at times TBH. Was a 4th dan black belt in Shotokan Karate but have trained in quite a few different styles over the years. Competed in Karate & kickboxing. Was a complete lifestyle for me really - have some back problems now & really not sure if it would improve or worsen my back if I started training again :( Go for it!! :)
  16. bloody hell - really?! I have had mine for nearly 10 years now & apart from when it was off the road for around 18 months has always been a daily driver. Based on that I must have spent well over £100k on mine - wondered where all my money went!! :lol::lol:
  17. Hmm, Im not so sure - second pic reminds me of this at the rear :x: :
  18. HIDs fitted today: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=154611
  19. Finally got round to fitting my HID kit after over a year of them sitting in my toolbox! Got them from DTA - very nice kit & results look good so far - must go out at night to try them!! One HID fitted vs standard lamp: both HIDs fitted:
  20. engine, gearbox, diff etc leaks are not part of the test. Only steering systems/suspension/fuel leaks would be a failure
  21. testing & failure criteria: http://www.transportoffice.gov.uk/crt/doitonline/bl/mottestingmanualsandguides/mottestingmanualsandguides.htm :)
