the water pump may not be leaking stu, but without the pump & fan the engine will quickly overheat & dump the coolant out of the overflow.

yup, sounds like youve lost your belt thats why your battery lights on & the battery is dead - the alternator is not charging. look here: belts the alternator & water pump (& fan) run off the same belt

doubt it TBH, if it was gonna have boost jets then you would (hopefully) see more than a 0.5 psi boost increase! most are set from 12-16 psi probably more like the wastegate actuators have got a little weak & are opening a little later

is the chip in a socket or soldered directly to the board? socketed = modified! (unless someone has put a standard map chip back in a modified socket!! )

i have a JWT chip & am more than happy :)

an off the shelf would be fine IMO for those mods. a custom mapped chip may be better but will cost a lot more
