What's this HID light upgrade thing then??
did answer this on the origional thread! as long as the beam pattern is still retained then theres no reason why they would fail. someone needs to do it & confirm theres still a good beam pattern

Question
LOL, you cant "use" either! there just names! i think all this "this style is better than that style" is a crap argument. If your good at martial arts then it wont matter what style you do. just find a club with a good instructor. comparing grappling/locking styles to punching/kicking styles is also difficult. fortuanatly iv trained in both so one situation may mean an arm lock would be better, or i may just punch them in the head!! :mac1: as an instructor i do teach locks etc to the higher grades, & weve got a 2nd dan who does JKD, so he incorperates that, & another 4th dan who does aikido. i just love any kind of training  taught karate last night then trained in kickboxing. love it!

Question

What alternative to a Zed?
none of the above ;) always fancied a Lancia Integarale (or an S4 -hoopa!!), as it was the 1st real quick car i drove when i worked for them. or maybe a Lancia Stratos - yummee :) (shame they fall apart so easily :( )

Tapley whatley??
PERMENANT 4wd systems should not be tested on the rollers for the same reason - wind up in the transmission. Graham - no car with a LSD should be tested on rollers, so all zeds should be tested on a plate type tester (which is what we have - plates sunk into the garage floor, you drive up & hammer the brakes on, theres 4 separate "plates" hooked up to a computer that measures braking force on each individual wheel), which not many garages have, or tested with the Tapley Meter. any Zed tested in rollers is being tested INCORRECTLY! HTH
-
Tapley whatley??
the rollers can cause "wind up" in the diff. TBH its unlikely at the speeds the rollers turn at, & iv put LSD cars in the rollers myself, but it is a possibility & i guess the VI dont want to be held liable for any damage
-
Tapley whatley??
the're quite correct vehicles with LSD's should not be tested on brake rollers as there is a possibility of damage. we have a plate brake tester, which is far more flash & is fine to use. all garages with rollers must have a Tapley Meter (decellerometer) for measuring braking force in cases like this!!
