  3. we have to set off airbags & seatbelt tensioners before disposing of them - always good for a laugh :D we put a 25l plastic container on one once, it cleared the roof of our workshop!! do go with a bang too, set one off in the parts dept once - parts guys run out after nearly sh!tting their pants!!
  4. not skilled enough to fix it????? WTF??? i had a similar accident with mine, had to replace o/s/r suspension components, diff & subframe were fine on mine, i think it would be very unlucky to need a new diff i done all the mechanical work myself on mine (through my garage) & our bodyshop done the body repairs. i cant for the life of me work out why any garage doesnt have the skill to replace a few suspension components, 4 wheel alignment will have to be done - no big deal. unless they think it needs jigging??
  5. kazza lite here too
  6. i do the MOT myself too!!
  7. know someone in the SouthEast! :D (sorry!)
  8. If the crankshaft is groved, then the only way to remove them is by removing metal!
  9. any fault codes?? Poss PTU problem
  10. agree with MTL, the slightest of groving will help knock out the new shell bearings, which you really dont want. a crank regrind really isnt that expensive anyway.
  11. had no probs with mine, its a great way of getting power for bugger all!! ;) mine nearly done 100,000 miles now
  12. i got an after market one for £135+vat IIRC. you could also get it repaired, but if its the drive thats gone then its nissan only replacement, & thats £130 for the part alone!!
  13. this one should even the odds a little :D Brabus SLK V8

I take it you mean the contacts on the coils? could be a defective coil if they were badly corroded obviously check the plugs, but also check & clean the contacts on the PTU - could also be corroded (may as well clean all other terminals under the bonnet while your there, TPS, CAS temp sensor etc)
  15. you want at least an uprated cooler then, if it breaks a fast road rebuild (or convert to manual ;) )
  16. http://www.courtesyparts.com/z32/z32-tbkita1.html USA$ is crap ATM, so you get a good deal, allow for postage & import duty tho :)
  17. i personally think this should be in the FAQ section :D
  18. The manual lists simply "high" or "low" pressure when th solenoids are open or shut
  19. *SIGH* please read my FAQ on cat tests!! the z32 is not in the MOT database at all, 94 doesnt even come into it. post july 95 cars are subject to a cat test as there are default limits to adhere to after this date NOW you can get back on topic ;)
  20. read my post in the FAQ section!!!
  21. SH!T, theres something wrong with my car :( i get no noise on start up :p
  22. 2 ways: 1 - cheap way: boost jets, buy 2 1.0 / 1.2mm mig tips & insert them in the wastegate pipes. 2 - flash way: buy a boost controller & fit it about 14-15psi is about as far as you want to go on stock turbos/injectors like mike said, you need an aftermarket boost gauge as the stock one is sh!te
  23. up the boost!! :D oh, & you'll prob need an uprated clutch once you do this
  24. crank bhp Andy ;) (thats what im talking about anyway)
