  1. after some of the recent HICAS removal threads I am wondering if im the only person who doesnt find it a problem!! I like the way the car handles, maybe a little overweight, but no probs with the 4WS. its a UK car with stock suspension & 17" alloys. who else likes/dislikes the 4WS on our cars. is it just a import thing with speedo convertor problems or what??
  2. 1.2mm jets = 12 psi on mine

  11. Ardy, unless its already gone, johnboy from this forum is sellin an immaculate black manual TT, & hes in maidstone too! ;) may be a little bit more than those 2, but its had ££££'s spent on it. look in the for sale section :)
  12. yup, few days. top service as well. joey@courtesyparts.com is a helpful chappie to speak to. not sure if he done it intentionally or not, but he only put 1/2 the items i ordered on the invoice, so i only paid 1/2 the duty - shame that! :D also 1 part was sent wrong(temp sensor), so he refunded it straight away & sent another sensor FOC by UPS!! very happy with their service :)
  13. yeah, some of the US guys running 720cc injectors still claim they have a smooth idle too. as long as its injecting the correct amount of fuel theres no problem.
  14. hmm, not so sure about that. we have an air compressor at work that puts out 120psi pressure, on the ends of the air pipes we have a regulator (basically a variable restrictor), the pressure after this point is 90psi, open the regulator giving less restriction & the pressures back up to 120psi.
  15. course not - how the hell would you get a zed up a snow covered mountain?? couldnt even get mine off the forecourt at work with 1/2" snow!!
  16. ooh, whats it supposed to be???? let me guess - a horse?? no,no - a pteredactyl???? erm no, hang on - self portrait? go on - i give in, tell us :D
  17. well, kinda. you work out transmission losses by putting the car into neutral & seeing how much bhp drag is recorded on the dyno. that is your transmission loss. a manual car is straight forward loss, on an auto youve got all that fluid sloshing about everywhere, doesnt give an accurate measurement really, its a lot higher on an auto than what the loss would be when driving
  18. look at our buyers guide in the FAQ section :)
  19. no, mine drops 1psi or so, & TBH i think that may be the turbos running out of puff higher in the rev range than anything else. lower gears it drops at higher rpm, shift into 5th & boot it & it holds a steady 16psi! its like crushing a hose pipe so less water flows through.
  20. erm, there is a seperate section - its in the "FAQ section" !!
