IIRC, if you have full comp ins, you can drive any car that does not belong to you as long as it is insured already! (subject to policy) id check with the insurance co to be sure

IMO synthetic oil is a waste of money when most of us change it every 3000 miles or so anyway! a good quality semi synthetic is more than enough!

The fan has 2 relays, the main one & the sub one PCV valves are for the breather system. theres one either side of the upper plenum. also replace the hoses to them & 2 others at the front. they are fairly cheap. look here
