  1. you can only fit a smaller plate legally on an import only if you cant physically fit a UK sized one. it will physically fit, will look ugly, but it will fit! iv got a rather small one ( :o ) on mine - looks much better!! as far as MOT goes, you cant fail for the size of the plate, as long as its correctly spaced & has correct lettering.

  3. almost!! an aftermarket chip with no det maps will not retard the ignition timing. it will still put the car into safety boost. if you have jets then you will get safety boost. if you have a boost controller then these will bypass the wastegate solenoids & you will still get full boost! HTH
  4. I think im right in saying the turbos themselves are physically the same size & (turbine & compressor housing) but just have a different AR to shift the power lower down the rev range. not that really matters for your question i guess!! :D

  10. both are easy jobs. plugs you need to remove the balance bar at the rear of the plenum. unbolt & remove the coils to gain access to the plugs air filters are under the front panel between the headlamps.

  21. the front pistons are prone to siezing in the calipers. check to see if all the pistons can be pushed back. if not you can get new seal kits & rebuild them
