What did you do to your zed today?
It's costing around 700 quid, with a place called SVS in Cardiff, wales - said they have experience with the car

Advice needed
Maybe just slow-ball it for a while and see where the build goes with what funds you can save as time goes on and then if you really want to progress it you can look into selling your lovely LWB. Depends what time-scale you want to look at really!

My Refreshed Zed.
The painter said that the material wouldn't take the paint very well and I took his word for it as I didn't want to bugger them! I do know what you mean mate

My Refreshed Zed.
And added my final little addition Thanks again Richie! She's now all tucked up for the night. A good day for me!

My Refreshed Zed.
Rear wheels are mounted. Fronts needed a slightly lower profile tyre so expecting them on within the next day!

My Refreshed Zed.
Thanks fellas I'm very excited. I haven't seen the car in the flesh for about 4/5 weeks as I'm in university so am spoon fed photos periodically. Can't wait to see it!

My Refreshed Zed.
So just had another report on the Z. Good progress made! Spoiler and bootlid painted and attached Targas painted and re attached but missing a couple trims And all the lights up and running! It's a happy day for me, could do with a glass clean though!

My Refreshed Zed.
Thanks everyone, still more to do but if it follows the trend of all the other work I think it'll be perfect! Once the body is finished she will be going to Jimmer for a full workup, with turbos being replaced as they're puffing some blue and hopefully this will keep her running nicely for years to come!

It really does add to the style of the bumper. A subtle difference but a strong impact I think

My Refreshed Zed.
A quick before and after of the behind to So this is where my current project lay.. waiting on the boot lid with spoiler, doors and door handles and nose panel to be done.. hopefully not long now..

I asked that the bumper be layered in mesh to protect from stones and the like And this was then mounted with a new little bracket for the number plate so it can be easily removed for shows! And then had a lovely rim delivery too (18x9.5 ET38 - i think - all round)

The bonnet was the painted and re-attached And the rear end was re-assembled with a small add-on that i may have copied and pasted from a photo of Baz's (old i think) Zed! I then spent a few hours wiring in the new lights and centre panel and removing the old mangled loom for the three pots (Thanks paul for the loom and andy for the centre panel lighting up!) Then it was back into the paint booth as i wanted the top of the car black to blend nicely with the glass from the windscreens And the bumper emerged in new paint also!

What seemed like a lifetime later the majority of the body was in paint. I think it looks amazing! Here you can really see the difference from the engine bay paint: I had also asked them to paint my chrome repeaters black to tie in with the theme

My Refreshed Zed.
Weeks later and the car had finally been put into primer and in the paint booth! For the colour, i went for a bright and crisp white

My Refreshed Zed.
They then proceeded on the rear arches, adding filler and sanding until it looked just right I was really pleased with the end result of this. It was noticeable but not in your face which was perfect. A delivery arrived from the US so i took it down for a test fit I have to say i was very surprised and happy with the fitment! A couple of week later i took down the light that Andy had done for me (Thanks again!) and had these test fitted. In my opinion these look a lot better than the 3 pot lights that were on there!
