As title, caught a glimpse of a nice looking 300zx in Binley, Coventry, at around 1:00pm today.

I was really hoping whoever it was, is a member on here.

It would have been great to have someone local to swap knowledge with.

That was me, I was dropping the car off with Greg @ Protuner for mapping.

I'm still waiting too see another 300zx on the road, only place iv seen them is at shows and powerzed lol.

Where abouts in South Wales? I'm in Cardiff (near enough anyway)

That's a shame, not the Swansea bit you understand, just the fact you are not local to me.

The car saw 540bhp on the rollers. Final figure was 509hp and 525 ft lb

I'm in Cardiff , up in thornhill. Be good to have a blast with some 300zx guys.

I have quite a few spare twin turbo engine parts , sensors etc so if you get stuck and want to try something give me a shout.

What setup are you running ?

Engine spec is:

 

Weisco forged pistons

Cometic head gaskets

Gt525 turbos

Ams high flow manifolds

Nismo 615cc injectors

Walbro fuel pump

3 inch downpipes

3 inch test pipes

3 inch kakimoto exhaust

Z1 ba intercoolers

2 1/2 inch intercoolers pipe kit

Uprated recirc valves

Robz 62mm throttle bodies

Big cone filter

Greddy profec ebc

Jimmer @ powerzed did a lot of work on the car, and the spec was put together to make 500hp. Iv had a few other high hp cars so didn't want anything which was not driveable.

Nice spec, what boost are the 525's at for this power output out of curiosity?

High boost setting is 18psi. While it was being mapped according to my boost controller max boost it saw was 19.6psi which is probably where it made the 540. 509hp is plenty for me, but there is more to be had out of 525s

That's decent power for 18psi, speaks wonders for the combination of breather mods and the GT525's along with the Jimmer assembly [emoji106]
