What did you do to your zed today?
This may be a long post.. Over the last 4 days I did a number of things and forgot to post day by day.. Day 1. (This was actually about a week ago but hey ho..) Replaced my Radiator with a "performance" one from ZCentre (the original had a cracked inlet), pretty nice and simple job, had to wait for the ZCentre bracket to come but thanks to Gaz, I got some temporary brackets meaning I could still drive her! Couple days later my bracket came, had to modify it slightly by cutting a section out due to the plastic cover of the fan obstructing it, but it's lovely now! Day2. This is where the work really started, so I was due an MOT in the week and she failed on 2 things. 1 - not having rear fog lights 2 - a rear ball joint being very tired. So one step at a time i ordered a HICAS eliminator kit and knew I had to wait for that to come so I then wired in some fog lights into my existing 3 piece light system at the rear (used to be 2 of the lights as side lights, now 1 side light 1 fog, on each side) and this all went swimmingly. Day 3. My kit had arrived so I set about the whole install, first was removing the rear steering rack, some pain to get a couple bolts out but it got done, then I removed the solenoid from the engine bay so that's tidier now! Then I had to get the ball joints out, luckily one was pretty new so slid pretty much right out. The second was a B**** and didn't budge so after about 16 hours of work, cutting, drilling, heating, it popped out! The relief was unreal. Day 4, I put the HICAS eliminator in and bolted up and sent it for her MOT! Also just had confirmation she passed! Sorry for the LONG post but wanted to finally start getting involved on here :) going to start a My Z thread with photos soon!

Z32 TT Performance Radiator BRACKET.
Recently bought a new "Performance" radiator as the original began to crack on the hose inlet, and the new radiator is much thicker (around 53mm) so I need new brackets to fit. The radiator is from ZCentre, was going to order the brackets from them too but they're now closed until the 14th July. Anyone got anything?

At some point it will need a respray. The back end is a slightly whiter shade than the front?![emoji55] but it doesn't look absurd, it's quite characteristic[emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been on the forum for a while now. But after months of searching I've found the right car and put my money down on it! These photos are from the listing, I was enjoying the viewing too much to take my own. I'm picking her up on Wednesday and will give a thorough wax and then post some new ones! Also will be buying a Forum Subscription very soon! Once I recuperate some money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Manual 300ZX Twin Turbo
I'm looking to buy my first 300ZX! The 2 biggest things I need for it to be are Manual and Twin Turbo. The colours I prefer Silver but also like Black, Red, Open too all colours as it's gorgeous in all really. My budget is up to about £3500, minor body damage isn't an issue but I'm not a mechanic and cannot be dealing with mechanical issues - well big ones I have some knowledge. I'll look in to all 1990+ models. :)

Buying My first for a project - Turbo choice? Help!
Granted it wouldn't be a job to do in a hour, a project for a week or longer maybe? It may be extensive, but is it very very difficult? If i was able to source the TT parts from a breaking 300, would that not suffice? Then its a case of putting it in? (Sounds easy, right? lol) If i wasn't about to source from a breaking, what about a aftermarket TT kit for it? Same problems?? P.s. thanks for the link its v.useful

Buying My first for a project - Turbo choice? Help!
So, firstly I'm dead new here, HI! Im looking to get a 300, but my options around here are very limited and I'm going to have to drive quite a ways to look at what is already available. I would like a twin turbo (Like anyone) but they're scarce and haven't seen anything come up for about 5 weeks now (Without it being horribly molested and having some naff body kit and sticker all over it). Because the car would be a project for me that will inevitably take all my pennies, I was contemplating getting a non-turbo model, and then turbo-charging it? If i were to do this, would it be worth sourcing the stock turbo kit from a breaking possibly? Should be a direct bolt in right? Or do i go for aftermarket? So thats the only thing I'm really curious on is the turbo situation, any pointers or guides would be greatly appreciated. (Also if anyone is close to where i may get the 300, could someone possibly meet with me to give it a once over as I'm no pro) Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Evo
