As everyone knows I have had a rough idle problem for a bit with the exhaust note being broken at random times... After reading a thread on here with someone having a similar problem I took the maf off and started the car... no bad idle... no break or anything. Put it back on and break in the exhaust note. also reading the same thread they had a problem with the new maf. Which ones are best to order? Cheers

New silicon hoses. Looks better than the hard pipes imo

Update... The chip does have a name on it... pictures: Anybody know if it's any good?

I know Noz is real good with this kinda stuff but I have a ecu chip which is soldered into the ecu with two wires... However it doesn't have a name on it and I feel this could be a cheap chip. also feeling that this could be the culprit of my bad idle (earlier called a misfire). Is it safe to test this by cutting these two wires to cut out the chip? Thankyou

Think I sorted it now guys... I think it was because my heater was on. When it turned off it becomes much quieter. Tried it 5 times on and off and same thing. Louder and quite engine

Oh aha. I thought they were meant to have fully synth. Alright then what viscosity is the part synth? Does having this noise and oil at the minute matter? Will it cause upset? :(

Yeah as the title states. Another possible problem.. The bottom end of the engine has become quite loud. You can hear something ticking buts it's louder than just a ticking noise there is plenty of 10w 50 fully synth oil in it. Only just changed spark plugs, oil filter, oil, fuel filter. The noise just came on as I was driving.... any ideas?

Series 2 ptu installed aswell as a new fuel filter and osram night breaker bulbs. Also an abflug front nose. Runs much better but still a slight miss. checked the spark plugs and they are NGK plugs but cold ones and because of the idling I do because of traffic they have fouled... getting some standard ones delivered today see what that will do :)

Hey guys. My boot lid is rusting under the spoiler, near the window and underneath. Preferably one in black or red :) not bothered about spoiler. PX is welcome as I don't have room to store really :)

This is why I am now thinking they are a upgrade kit from brembo. Looked at the kit with the same diameter disk and everything and it's 2400 quid. The disks alone are 350 each
