Right then. Took her to the mechanic today. They went under her and they said there is no rust at all under the car. I had a look and yeah, clean as anything. However. The rear diff is leaking oil slightly, the sump has a small leak but the rear crank is leaking quite a bit. Mechanic said that when they do the clutch they will do this labor free. Exhaust is rotten at the back slightly. She is misfiring slightly still but one of the coilpack connectors has had it by the looks of things. Also the rear hicas bushs need replacing, then he told me about the n/a sswap :D. But they said. Mechanically and structurally it's great also with the 6 bar of fuel. It could be the gauge is reading wrong as it is a cheap one. Gonna replace it with my spare SARD regulator.

Today before work I turned the boost down... was running at 1.75 Barr. Turned it down to 0.9 Barr. Boost is running fine. Felt much better today. StStill running at 6 bar of fuel. Leans out if any lower. Rang mechanic and they gonna see me Tuesday if need be Wednesday aswell. I think it could be a blocked injector the reason it's misfiring on idle. Also perhaps a vacuum leak?, would that explain the crazy fuel?

Yeah. They are at the other side of town but it ain't too bad. There is another company just up road from me who remap. Make exhausts and everything. But that's all they do

Yeah cheers mate. I really don't understand how this was set up like this. Absolutely awful. - - - Updated - - - Yeah they do quite a good job mate. They were working on a skyline when I went earlier personally what I think is that they have upted to boost and fuel pressure but not remapped it. Figures like this would not happen with a mapped ecu. Surely not

Right... I have pictures of everything on the boost controller it was set to 1.75 Barr. On the dyno graph it's at 15 psi. on the controller I turned it down to 0.65 Barr. Just to be safe

No no. Turbos kick in early. Let's say 2nd gear. Quite happy until about 5000 then slows right down then up again

It also has quite a bit of turbo lag at 5000rpm

Digital readout. Don't really know much about it but it tells me everything. Speed, rpm, O2, loads more

It was an invoice from a company called dynosek or something. Don't have with me at the minute. That's the dyno read out. Same company it just says boost set up

Meant to say. I have a thing in the car what tells me the O2 sensors and everything. When driving it basically says it's normal afr. When turned down it really does go lean and engine runs like rubbish

I would have to check the boost mate. Will be summat like 15 psi. Previous owner had for 4 month. Couldn't afford it. Dyno in may last year. Invoice for boost setting and a overall setup

Right. I personally don't think it's had a remap. I could be wrong. Just because it's running at quite high boost and only making 320 hp

Oh I forgot. It has an aftermarket fuel pressure valve.its set at 6 Barr!?!?!. The mechanic ssaid it should be down to about 3 Barr. When I put it down to 3 it wouldn't rev past 3000 rpm. Why is it so high?

Right. Been to a zx garage today for them to tell me my clutch is going... (I knew that). Engine wise. Absolutely fine. Needs a new gear stick bush. Loads of play. New looms for the coil packs as they have snapped. Needs a new front mounted intercooler because this one has hit a rock at some point. .. that will have to wait Also it pulls slightly to the left. I asked this and he said its something to do with the 4 wheels steering and the rear wheels or something

Yeah no worries mate. There is a zx specialist in Doncaster where I am so I gonna see what they say. With the idle. It idles around 900rpm. Feels smooth but you can feel a slight motion. I thought it could be spark plug
