  1. Mike Feeney http://www.mjpauto.com in Trader Forum can get hold of these as they are official Nissan part. The black bit under the spoiler on which the sticker is put is also itself a sticker. To get rid of mark - dunno - nail varnish remover? Lighter fluid?
  2. John-boy's OK too: 5 previous Zeds (3 x 300ZXs) obviously knocked some sense into him! BTW the 300 vs 350 on Top Gear wasn't mine - that was this one available from http://www.zclub.net The vid in my sig was when we proved that silver 300ZXs beat all other Zeds - even john-boy's 350Z driven by Clarkson! hahahahaha
  3. Great day - thanks jay :D The wheel police strikes again hahaha. Settle down, 3b, or we won't show the film. This is "an air drop nuclear round" which they had half hidden in a corner. Jay, come and have your pic taken in front of this very interesting thing which we don't know what it is. Nonononono ffs DON'T KICK IT 10-4 good buddy looks like we got us a convoy :D result of the amazing patented stick your camera out of the targas and click away at random photographe verité method
  4. If you're round there, call Mike Feeney http://www.mjpauto.com He's in Brentwood (and the Trader Forum) and knows most of the Z mechs in the area.

  8. You need to report the accident to the police within 24 hours. You will also probably need to sue (Small Claims Court) to get your dosh but "Under the 1971 Animals Act the owners are legally responsible for their dogs and therefore responsible for any damages caused." http://www.provet.co.uk/Petfacts/The%20Animals%20Act%201971.htm http://www.endsleigh.co.uk/web/policies/pet/industry/car_accidents.html http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/kennelclub/documents/guide9_dog_law.qxd.pdf Good Luck
  9. If you can't get what you need from traders here - another good 'un is Mike F at http://www.mjpauto.com - and you really need to get from US, Coz at http://www.conceptzperformance.com/ is always helpful.

    grass or tarmac, mate?
  16. And can I add that another big problem is many engineers being cr*p? We just had 15 (yes - 15) visits from British Gas to fix our Vaillant boiler - and it was only when they finally cracked and sent the real Vaillant man that we got HW & CH simultaneously. So a) get an engineer trained by (pref working for) the manufacturer - it may cost more per visit but you won't have to take so many days of work and b) ffs do not let anyone not Corgi approved touch any gas appliance let alone a combi boiler. (our problem started with the diverter valve as gruntpa64 said and finished with replacing just about every servo, diverter, diaphragm, control pipes and whatnot before the Vaillant bloke spotted the new valve had been wrongly fitted...)
  17. Certainly did - where else do we think we got the 1999 spec front bumper and rear spoiler? http://www.nissan-global.com/GCC/Japan/NEWS/257a.htm
  18. aha! So a standard thermostat won't let the engine run cooler than the temp at which the thermostat opens - but a peter/Nisstek thermostat will 'cos it's been modded.
  19. hasn't quite got the hang of reflectoporn has he :D
  20. last night - you were escaping from Slough and I was heading in (silver) we managed the flash but didn't clock the no plate. Wazzat you Richard?
  21. http://aus300zx.neuralmotion.com.au/tech/index.html bong!
  22. deffo matey - full marks for finding something different and actually doing it (instead of me just mouthing off about it :D )
  23. Now remind me, was that the one where the silver manual was fastest? Welcome!
  24. Non 1999 spec OEM bumpers don't have mesh at all do they? Yes Danny is right, mesh (especially close mesh) restricts airflow and it gets worse as airflow speed rises. So you've got a trade-off between protecting the rad / i/cs and letting the air get to them. Also, the rad / i/cs can be clogged up with gunk - so have an inspect and, if necessary clean in between your little fins. Mine were so bad the car would overheat if I put the aircon on - but after a clear out, everything OK again. (BTW, if you had unmeshed c/f ducts, would that not just direct the stones straight at the thing you were trying to protect?)
