Do a search on "vibes" that will provide you with plenty of results, its common to be the center bearing on the prop, but on my old one it turned out to be a bent or warped driveshaft or halfshaft (whatever they call em on zeds). Im treading on dodgy ground on this forum by saying this but you have checked the rear wheelnuts are all done up tight?!!!

The only bonus to it saying that is that you get cheaper insurance, one of the ways i found it out was by getting on line quotes one for a z31, one for a z32, and then one with the original reg plate, and the quote price matched the z31 perfectly and the z 32 was higher. Thus they thought mine was a Z 31 Edit, Just noticed yours is a 2 seater that might make it different mine have both been 2+2's

If in doubt walk away, you sound like you are in doubt. The white crud under the oil cap is not a good sign, I think its water contamination that does this, which would be consistant with the exhaust water. The stock oil guages are not very good, but it should be reading something so that sounds a miss too. How much have you got em down to if you dont mind me asking?

Well, we tried, if you find one you like, you best get the RAC or AA to check it out, alternatively take it for an MOT at a reputable garage of your choice at your expense, if the seller is guenuine they should shouldnt say no to this, cos if it passes and you change your mind they get a free 12 months ticket. Alternatively i know Jeff at zedworld does pre purchase vehicle inspections but it will not be cheap as he would have a long way to travel. Bloody insurance companies (and dvla), they always classify 89 cars as Z31's. Imagine the trouble I had with my old one (F plate Z32!!!) main things to check is that your log book doesnt say 2 axle rigid body coupe, as this means dvla have registered it as a Z31, then say to the insurance company; 1. My car is an import 2. Allthough they were released in the U.K in 1990, they were on sale in Japan in 1989. 3. Make it quite clear to them that you have tried your best to make sure they are insuring the right year/model and if their database is innacurate its down to them/dvla to sort it out and not you. 4. Try and get them to stipulate Z32 model on your policy/ cover note Good luck

I think that if the computer kicks it out they then do it manually if they have the manpower, but if they enhance the picture in anyway they leave themselves wide open for it to be kicked out of court. 9 to go!!

Have you tried plugging a phone charger in or something, make sure its not just the heaty up bit first???

Ive been praying for snow for ages, to go out and have fun in the zed, and what happens when we get some? The drives too steep for me get off it! As for the brakes, I had mine out in some ice so i slammed em on on an empty road so id know what to expect, and i was very impressed, bought me to a safe stop really well.

Just to keep it off topic! Making CATHY out of C19THY??? Never heard anthing so ridiculous in my whole life!!! LOL So basically these new rules mean we can have a square plate on the front......great. Ive been told many times about the reg plate laws, It should say; B (11mm gap) 1 (11mm gap) 9 (34 mm gap) R (11mm gap) K (11mm gap) S. And everytime i get told this it costs me 30 quid!! Also when i got my rear plate it was a bit too large for the holder on the back of the zed, thus i had to chop a bit off, the bit with the plate makers name on. Looks like i've got a potential shafting waiting to happen here too, ah well.
