DVLA V5 - Make & Model/Type help - UK spec.
I have owned two Zeds the first was a 1989 F reg one of the first (well the 196th to be exact) and the desciptin was "2 axlerigid body coupe and my insurance was £690 a year. When i broke that ine and got the new one which is a 1991`said on the V5 says "300 zx 2+2 turbo coupe" when i changed the insurance over instead of being £690 it rose to £800 Answer, in my opinion, is that DVLA will make the car look older rather than newer, thus some of the early ones have been mistakenly registered as Z31's and NOT Z32's. P.S After looking at my log book have now realised ive got to send it off agin s it states the engine size as 29998cc, either that or find out where my other 27 litres of engine are!!

Help Anyone??
Welcome to the mad house. About your tuning, there are a few links on the bottom of the main page here also theres SE sylvia engineering, people on here seem to have mixed veiws about them from what i gather they are quite expensive, very slow and very poor at customer service having said that many rate their work as excellent, i dont know as ive never been there, im just telling you what ive heard. Try doing a search and see what you think. Try speaking to Jeff at Zedworld i can vouch for his work not that ive had anything spectacular done to my zed Subscription is 20 squid and if youre keeping your zed a while its well worth it you get acess to menus and options that non subscribed members dont. Oh and one last tip if your new to this site, Wathc out for nelson!! LOL:D

Right whats best AUTO or Manual
I reckon its cos our auto's decide when they want to change gear and dont allow us to hammer them up to 7000 revs. As for autos not blowing up , im not the prson to comment on that!

Right whats best AUTO or Manual
I enjoy my auto as its nice to drive, but john dixon took me for a spin in his manual and i stepped out of his car wanting mine converted. Warren, dont know if it may have upset your poll but i had to vote twice, once to say manuals rock and once to say... well i think you can guess!

Jay,did you by any chance stay at the travel lodge on the A452 at Balsall Common? You pulled out of the car park at about 8.45 am (going to the moto show i bet). Anyway you know the Petrol station over the road from the hotel , well thats where i work, my Z was outside and i was waving at you from the shop but you didn't see.

Dunno if this counts
Not sure if this counts but i whipped two chaps in their Astra GSI's last night when they finally made it to the next set of lights i was grimaced at by a big black man in one of the astras!... oops! Ten mins later i had had a much better challenge made by a very friendly chap in a p plate 200sx, and when we pulled up at the lights down the road he told me that my car was "too rich for him" bet he didn't realise that he his car will have cost him twice what mine did! P.S This was at around Midnight on quiet roads, so no children etc were endangered by the way.

Another HICAS question
You can pull out the fuse to the HICAS to see what its like without, only problem is it disables the power steering too so it makes it rather heavy to turn!
-
Another HICAS question
