Oil and filter changed today. Filter was unusually stiff, so I had to use a chain wrench. The filter crumpled very badly from it - worryingly weak! No sign of steering arm play as mentioned during NCT, although I could do with ARB bushings.

I consider standards of driving to be quite poor in Ireland, but I rented a car in Portugal a few months ago and found them mental! Motorway slip roads are pretty dangerous in parts, in particular.

It's probably relaxed if you're immigrating, due to EU regulations. You can bypass our extortionate registration tax when moving to Ireland with a vehicle you've owned for at least six months.
