What do guys think about this stuff? The website makes out it can add BHP which im alittle sceptical about... Just wondering what sort of quality people think this is? Basically im looking at swapping gearbox (auto..) and diff oils and just wondering what to put in..

Whats a spigot ring?
So the performance alloys people couldnt help with the size i needed for the zed, anyone know of somewhere else i could get these from? Tried halfords / demon tweeks online and neither list any?

This just for NA's or TTs as well? So presumably if the bumper isnt coming off, you could just block the 2 intake things in my picture, and then sort it out properly next time the bumpers off

Edit: Reason i ask is the most forward of the coolers has seen better days but its tiny so cannot be that important (famous last words...) Also, not quite shown in the picture is another, larger cooler under the small vained one that can be seen in the pic...

I was removing the mesh from around my maf this morning (well worth doing IMHO car feels smoother now..) and noticed all these bits in front of the main Radiator. Just wondering what all these coolers are for? (pic attached..) Also noticed these air feeds leading behind the main headlights and wondered where they were ducting air 2/from?

its perhapse just the way datascan reads the powersteering input? Im pretty happy my PS is working ok and it might just be a logging issue. I also noticed that during the replay of my data the mixture was showing as rich throughout, even though during the run (and if you open the log file) it was normal (switching between rich/lean)

Also, noticed that during the run my PowerSteer (green thingy at the bottom ) remained off ? This showing anything wrong or just that the road i was on was pretty straight?

So after putting my log file up here and having a look back over the details im wondering what the following mean / reflect : A/F Base? What should this figure be as it didnt seem to change much with throttle position or speed etc really, always seemed to be around 100 +- 2 Injector? Its not the duty cycle as that is listed separatly ? And Airflow? Guessing this is the output of the MAF so should go up with the throttle reading etc... Just after a list of normal values as a starting place really...

cheers mate, guessing most of the 0-60 my technique then lol, sometimes that o2 sensor does drop so its a bit lazy im guessing. Think il be getting myself a jd chip soon, which will give a bit more performance than my jwt...

Basically guys just took my car out on a private road at work and did a few runs from mid 30mph upto cirac 100 then down and up again to 90 etc and the log file is attached. Interested to know what people that play it back think really (ive hada go but not sure what im looking at for some stuff.) The O2 sensors seem to be doing funny things when im not pushing the throttle, but not sure if im displaying the right ones for datascan really as if you overlay them on the graph they dont really agree sometimes :confused: Also after this warm up tried my first few 0-60s (ever) and managed a time of 6.2sec which i dont think is great, got a bit of wheel spin on that run, few other runs about the same time. Guessing its mostly down to my tehnique, but wondered if there was anythign obvious from the trace attached. FYI my zed is : 1990 TT auto. Apexi, hardpipes, scorpion exhaust from downpipes, JWT chip, braided fuel lines, stainless hard pipe kit with blue silicone hoses smithys blits bovs x 2 new series 2 ptu Profec B spec II running 12psi NB: Sorry guys had to zip the log file to upload it (and sorry it might not be the best trace ever only peaking at 100mph)

New Gauges
Avoid Tim IMHO, got a couple from the last owner in mine and they are sh1t. The temperature one is well out and the boost disagrees with my profec B (by a long way!) Only reason they are still in the car is that i cannot afford right now to get some decent ones in their place

Does look good, just not sure how much extra speed it would give boot time wise? Im looking for around 10second boot if i can, then i wont be too worried about hibernating the system

DO the following measurements make sense? Wheel inner 70mm and the hub 66mm? Im guessing that should mean i need a 4mm thickness spigot ring for my front 2 wheels?

just serached on nlite, seems great bit of software. Are you booting off CF lagrath or using a HDD and hiberante?

SOunds good, what sort of boot time do you think with celeron 1.8ghz say 512mb and cf card to boot and a HDD to store mp3s etc on?
