In-car Pc GPS sat nav / traffic master
sounds good, but do you get any traffic master information on this? (ie traiffc jams etc?) also what sort of pick up time to get off the gps? Heard that cheap gps aerials can give long pick up times? (or is that just from those making more expensive ones?)

That looks good mate, and also has the bonus of a slgihtly larger screen in easy access place. Like to see what it looks like in the car, and how you get on with light reflecting on the screen

Redline Water Wetter
wonder how much difference this stuff makes, presumably you have to drain the system to put it in anyways, so maybe its just the drain and refil with fresh thats making the difference (happy to be proved wrong)

smithy, your brake booster hose kits make much difference to pedal feel and braking performance? My current hoses are in good condition and have been replaced at some point in the cars history so they not too bad, im just ona mission to get the best braking i can out of standard zed configuration

Laptop to carputer
Depends on where you are planning on installing the laptop. You could always just wire it directly to the bottom of the cars power (as in under the ask tray) but depends on where you want the laptop installing.

thats what i was thinking as surly a p3 550 or upwards running windows me 256 (or 512mb ram) decent nvidea geforce 2 type card would be fine in a car? Obviously biggest area to spend would be HDD to keep the mp3/mp4 pictures on

Laptop to carputer
thats the sort of thing im looking at although wondering if its that much cheaper now thana custom carpc, £100+ for the laptop, same for the screen, then extra for the power unit / invertor.. guessing your looking at around £300 all in so might be a bit cheaper
