  1. zedworld are up in the midlands its tamworth on the m42. Great place that get work done well, know the cars and take pride in their work.
  2. Ive just had the zed 4 wheel aligned and the steering wheel is now central upto about 40mph. As speed increases above this i have to feed in slight right turn to keep the car going straight. I watched the guy track the car and everything was set as it should be. The car has got new hicas arms but doesnt have the hicas working (as its got an aftermarket wheel fitted). Wondered if the hicas might be to blaim, or if its anything else. Its not disasterous, just annoying really
  3. COD2 tourn? Its a great game but i dont like the way multiplayer works on live to be honest. The games are too small with only 8 in, and ive not found a way to play with the same people twice, (really build the hate that way if you frag the same guys.. especially in the team type games )
  4. 255's on the front? car must be difficult to steer with that width on surely? Ive got 265 on the back but 235 on the front. Falken 451s are great though!
  5. Hate you soo much lol... looks awesum mate, look forward to seeing it in the "flesh"
  6. On my last cold start my timing was a s high as 35, no idea if thats right or not really ? After the run once it had warmed up went back to about 15, thinkive got a lazy left o2 sensor as well so that might be effecting the timing at idle when cold hth
  7. PGR 3 is really good, im bit of a biff with xbox live though no idea how to find anyone etc... but yes id be up for it
  8. Thanks for the advice guys clocks ticking i guess..
  9. Guessing its something for the abs unit to measure the rate of speed decay from the wheels, wouldnt have thought it would be an mot thing though
  10. Damn i hate you lol Going to look top matey
  11. This sound right for the diff? API GL 5 specification, viscosity SAE 80W-90 (taken from american How to..)? Still looking for the gearbox details... Edit royalpurple only do diff oil meeting gl-5 in the following: 75w90 , 75w140 and 85w140. Guessing 75w90 the way forward? Edit: just noticed 80w90 available in cases, this the right stuff?
  12. great thanks mate if you could. Im looking at loosing £87, so not huge but enough to pi$$ me off. Its all adding up as the guys paypal address wont accept emails either looks like ive been done!
  13. Any advance on grades / gearbox quantity guys?
  14. Thats what i was hoping, surly its stealing which ever way you look at it. Ive sent an email mentioning legal action so lets see how he takes it from here. Thanks for the advice guys..
  15. Long story short, i made a guy an offer for an item on ebay on the grounds that i wanted the item earlier than the auction was due to finish. I made a good offer and we both agreed to end the auction and i would pay the cash to him. What happened was over the weekend i didnt have lots of internet access and the auction ended with someone else winning  I have sent a few messages to the guy i supposedly brought the item off asking WTF is going on but had no reply. Basically (fearing the worse!) wondering where i stand as the cash was sent via paypal ? Advise please
  16. Monster cables are definatly worth the cash. Not cheap but they do flat cables as well as different lengths. They are all shielded and use various cores etc. worth a look. Think comet sell them although im sure the interweb will have cheaper suppliers.
  17. lol at the disclaimer
  18. Sounds good to me, what grades do i need for the gearbox and diff then? Also any advance on 7litres for an auto box?
  19. Thanks mate, so 3 litres for the diff, but anyone give me an idea whats needed for an auto box?
  20. Mate no such thing as a crap question, way i got round it, (apart from not listening!) was i threatend to buy a nova sri! Did the trick asno way she would put up with a nova lol
  21. Im not ahuge fan of buying other cars for fun, for fooks sake the zed is awesum! I owned an s4 and took it on a track and it was fun but its no zed! Whats the point in owning a 3l v6 twin turbo and using it sparingly as your scared of hurting it? I use mine as a daily driver and stretch her legs whenever i get chance
  22. thats pretty poor to be honest. Hope they sort it out for you fella
  23. Im all legs and no arms too, ive got an after market wheel and the way im getting round it is purchasing a wheel spacer from demon tweeks (only £35) and means i can have the seat in the right place... As for the price, as manta said, you definatly get what you pay for with these cars. I payed £5k back in nov for mine, but the car was pretty good and had full history of work done. Think 4.8 isnt bad at all if its a good one.
  24. oh yea how thick of me... will give halfords a call tomorrow, but they are not listed on their website, strange i thought
