Finally got him!!!
Ah i don't mind them, i think he got in when i left all the doors open when i was rushing about filling the car with water so shouldn't be any more all being well. If there were more i'd probably have to resort to pest control but as it is i live in the countryside so you get used to nature being all around you

Impossible Drifting with 300zx and HICAS
It doesn't fix it matey, the only thing holding the wheels in place is the oil in the system as far as i remember so the wheels can still move by themselves under severe cornering, i may be wrong on that one though?

Christmas Leather project results
Goiod job there buddy, must have taken a while but looks like it made it worthwhile by the result and hooray for heated leather in this weather!

Weight Loss versus BHP increases
Nope, it's just simple mechanics. It's all about leverage, if you think when you can't turn a nut by hand you use a lever. If a wheel's bigger it take more force to move it but it covers a longer distance, the smaller the wheel the better the acceleration but lower the top speed, the larger the wheel the higher the top speed but lower the acceleration. So by moving a to a smaller diameter wheel i reduced the turning force needed to accelerate thereby improving my acceleration but reducing the speed range i could cover in the gears if you get what i mean? Also the weight of the actual wheel makes a big difference too

Impossible Drifting with 300zx and HICAS
No problem buddy, the main issue you are going to hit is that the hicas is always going to try and cancel out any sliding from the back end. I know Micky B had a button to enable/disable Hicas on his car, theres a plug you can uplug in the hicas controller under the bonnet that switches the system off but it does not lock the arms in place so you'd find under hard cornering the arms would move and it could be potentially dangerous

nitrous on tt zed good or bad???
Had NOS, sold NOS, never used it. The previous owner fitted it and i equalled his time ON nitrous without having to switch it on at santa pod and i know he had a lot of trouble getting it set up correctly. You really need to be running forged internals to run it day to day and it's not cheap to keep toppin git up. 7 runs on 150 shot is a full bottle at £50

Weight Loss versus BHP increases
A few things i noted on my NA through the drag racing challenge this year: - Changed wheels from 275/40/R18s to the stock 225/50/R16s and knocked .5 of a second off my quarter mile - Removed the two seats and rear bench and replaced with a single carbon kevlar bucket seat when racing and knocked another 0.5 seconds off the quarter mile Admittedly the car's running about the 230-240bhp mark rather than the full TT 280bhp mark but still it's bloody impressive what you can achieve. It sharpened up the handling and the acceleration blew me away with how responsive it is. Mine is missing the fuel return system, the carbon filter, the aircon, the cruise control etc and it's pulling close to 14.5 second quarter miles which isn't bad for a none turbo 2+2 Try it out by just removing the seats, the spare etc and see what happens :)

6x9 placement
There's enough room to do it although i would advise doing what i'm doing shortly which is mount some 5mm mdf onto the door and then screw the 6x9 and cover into that through the door card which then holds the door card tight to the door and eliminates any rattles or in my case fixes the broken plastic clips and holds everything tight

DVD fitted
Some work, some don't buddy. The main problem is the edge of the facia for the air vents is very tight to the stereo so you may find there's not enough room to fit on one without dremeling the stereo surround at the top and sides then bonding it onto the air vent facia

6x9 placement
6x9 fit perfectly in the front doors, even follow the shape of the curve on the upholstered bit

No more European jolly's for the Zed....

What else can I do to loose weight?
Yep took that out when i was drag racing and the rear wiper arm and motor. Also took both seats out and had a spare carbon kevlar seat i used when racing. Made a huge difference because those seats way a ton! The air con pump weighs a huge amount of weight, if you've got targas you don't really need it apart from in the winter when you want to demist

alright

Help please -water loss
Mine's losing water like an old lady on a plastic chair at the moment, annoyingly it's the Kenlow copper temp sensor that just won't let the pipe clamp down on it which i've never had a problem with before. Looks like i'll need some more clamps because filling it up every morning is doing my head in :( The plastic rads on these are a pain in the arse, i've had 2 split on me so far, no such problems with my Koyo Ally Rad so far fingers crossed!
