Another possible venue for the club to attend...
I have received confirmation from the organisers that the club can have a space for 10 cars at this show. Entry is £10 per vehicle which includes driver and one passenger. Payment needs to be made in advance which i can deal with but payment is non refundable if you cannot attend. Add your names if you can commit to this. :thumbup1: 1. Chrisbasildon

Parts needed for manual conversion?
Its nothing to do with de valueing the car, its to do with knowing in your own mind you that YOU went the extra mile and didnt just take the easy option with the "that'll do attitude". Your car so YOU do what you feel is the best/easiest way.:thumbup1:

Yes, you only need to disconnect the pedal from the pushrod and remove the pivot pin. Fiddly yes but what isnt on a zed....

Parts needed for manual conversion?
But why take the easy route when you could do the job the correct way? I would much rather know a job is done the right way than the easy way. I feel that this taking the easy/cheap option is precisely why many zeds and other cars end up the way they do. Do it right and do it once.

Another possible venue for the club to attend...
if we have a reasonable amount of cars to attend Ash I could organise this on your behalf if your ok with that, the organisers require a club rep to attend the show ground in the week prior to the show to see the allocated plot. This venue is 10 mins from me. I will talk to the organisers tomorrow and confirm we can have a plot if needed and go from there.

Fog light install
Think I misunderstood you then mate, if the current bulb is not used as a brake light and used as a fog instead then yes your spot on. I was thinking you meant doubling it's use as a brake and a fog light.

Fog light install
Its perfectly acceptable to utilise the front fog switch to power the rear fog for mot purposes, and i think its the neatest and best way to do it. You cannot however use your right hand stop light as a fog light.

Rare parts thread
The reflective yellow is of a different kind to that used on standard plates. It's what is used on some TVR rear plates as they don't have reg plate lamps.

Best wishes, hope you treated yourself to something Z related.:thumbup1:

What did you do to your zed today?

Opinions on wide rear arches..?
Whilst the work gone into most of these rear arch extensions is of very good quality I'm not a fan of them myself, I don't consider the front arches to be flared, they roll over the wheel to meet the bonnet but if you look down the length of the car they aren't really a flared arch like say an M3 for example. Also if you look at the rear of the zed from behind from the roof line around the side down to the sill it is one continuous curve which I think looks near as damn it perfect. Nice work though guys :thumbup1:
