i dont know yet. they have asked me to take some pictures of the damage and email them to them.

had a call today and they are bringing car back to mine. I dont know how they are gonna get a low loader onto my drive tho as access is very tight. will have to drag it from the road down the driveway and into the garage as the wheels are smashed so cant roll.

Looks like there could be a huge problem as the insurance company have said that my z was already declared a insurance write off in 1995(10yrs before i got it)which i knew nothing about at all. surely that should of flagged up on the systems before when i took out the insurance. so looks like i could be fooked in hoping for anything back at all.

just been on phone to insurance and they dont know if i can buy it back yet as it depends on the category of write off as sometimes you cant remove so much as a bolt. they are howether going to try and have it recovered back to my home to stop anymore storage fees from adding up.

thankyou for your replies. unfortunately my z days will be over for the foreseeable future as although its been fantastic, id rather now start using any spare money to save for a deposit for a house.

today has been a very bad day as the z has been involved in a crash. luckily no one else involved, but just bad circumstance road conditions for a rear wheel drive car. Police have recovered it and its 100% a complete write off. So my zx days are done. have got some spare parts that if anyone needs them they are free to collect as wont be needing them anymore. Also happily noone been hurt not even so much as a scratch. Not got any pics tho before anyone asks for them,lol. just a bad day overall.

ive not had the insulation on for years, never caused any problems.

Could possibly be a dodgy injector seal and is sucking in air when warmed up. doe's it take a little longer to start the engine after being left for a few hours?

now ive got mine i can enter the jae competition for the oldest z, as my card says its a 1900 year instead of 1990,lol

well yes in a nutshell from my view the zx is a supercar, its a CAR and its SUPER good at pi$$ing me off almost every week with yet another thing to fix,lol

when it comes to online help youve always been a star jeff. Not only is the guides appreciated when someone does them, its even more appreciated when the tech threads you do is helping people achieve repairs that could of cost alot of money in a business that you provide. personally i think that a pdf on a disc at a small price that would give you a bit back for your time is something i would definitely be willing to buy. thankyou jeff for all your help on the site over the years.

thankyou. i would like to know the settings used on screen 2 and 3 on the menu. also which setting you have for the rpm screen as mine isnt reading properly which is either 1 i havent set it correctly. 2 its bust. thankyou.
