today ive removed the scuttle panels and gave underneath a extra coat of protection under the windscreen with some hammerite. then thought may aswell repair the battery side as it was cracked so glued it back together with some fibreglass resin. finally gave them a coat of paint see how they look colour coded to the car and got them refitted. Am sure not everyone will like it(waiting for a comment from si,lol), but its my car and i like it.

how come you didnt you go straight up the A1? could of knocked off around 45miles from your journey.

wings west has a kick out all round the bottom edge.

an apexi avcr fits in the slot just nicely enough to be able to drop it down and still use the cubby hole to put small things like parking change in.

to be fair as a show car its got appeal. as a daily car however its a no from me. price wise i bet they get somewhere near that asking price as looks like alot of money has been spent on it. paintwork wont of been cheap thats for sure.

they are nice cars when working properly. i had my cupra for sale for ages on here and everywhere else and no interest at all, even with a stupidly low asking price. ended up giving it to my mother in law to use as her alfa romeo has issues at the moment.

get a tall one, looks good and can see through the mirror. they also look well with the lines of the rear of the car as its the same angles of the back. theres always gonne be people that dont like them just as theres gonna be people that love them(like me :-) ). But no matter what you choose most importantly make sure YOU like it, after all its your car.

i wouldnt say its a mistype. traders on eby/gumtree/autotrader do it constantly. personally i wont buy off people who mis advertise.

got it fitted on yesterday to see how it looks. it will be coming back off to be fettled with as the fitment isnt too good, plus i will be fixing fog light ducts in and meshing the lower spaces.

seen this one on there too. hes also got a white one for offers over £100. Been told its sandyz from on here whos selling them.

cant see how it can look tatty or not put together properly when it a area that doesnt show too much.

it does get dirty but it washes off. it doesnt get blocked up or filled with mud and as a bonus allows a full flow of air to cool the brakes. my z is my daily driver and and has caused no concerns with them fully removed.

i had to remove all the inners on mine to fit 19's on. still catches a little when turning tho. my advice would be to make sure you clean up inside the arch and give it a few coats of shultz everywhere to protect it.

ive seen that car for sale all over and at all different prices too. looks nice but would be carefull as after seeing adverts ranging from under a grand to almost 3k, would seem that something isnt right about it.

first trial fitting. realized that these replacements are going to fit the rear better as ive had to use 10mm spacer to clear the calipers but wont need them on to clear the rear caliper. im really liking the the look fitted tho.

tonight i started preparing my new bumper to replace the current one which needs the top of it repairing(not a major job). Mikey bean was gonna bin this so i saved it from its fate and got it all painted up tonight. still needs buffing smooth and im probably gonna lacquer it too to help protect from stone chips. hopefully get it fixed on my next day off.

i used to have it on mine and ive used it at at almost 100mph so they do work above the 69mph jap version limit
