when you think you have a problem with your car the best thing to do is see a reputable garage or ask on here NOT drive at 130mph to see if the problem is terminal :D I think someone on here had a simple problem once, they decided to do a 155mph run and turned a £200 fault into a £4000 fault

problem is, you buy a car based on what is doing then, and a seller can only sell on what it was doing then, even if something goes wrong 24 hours later its not down to the previous owner, unless they have deliberately hidden a fault.

its your hormones, you won't listen to anyone at 17 :) i really hope you enjoy your purchase, but don't get carried away and have a serious think about the investment you are about to make in a 15 year old car,

7k for just insurance? sorry but if you pay that you are insane, wait until you are 21, put the money into a house and then see if you can afford the zed, and pay perhaps 2k insurance, I spent a lot of money on cars from age of 17-24, i had a lot of fun, but that money could have gone elsewhere, you get no return on your investment with a car,

good luck in your quest :) but TBH, remember purchase and insurance is just the tip of the iceberg, you have maintenance and petrol costs, don't let yourself suffer financially for a car :)

check it isn't the wheel bearings, redline just fitted a new one, if there are any problems with them then PM me and i will give scott a call.

hey carl car has had new o2 sensors and cats, have you tried resetting the ECU? it may be worth checking the exhaust bolts havnt come loose,
