I personally think people are going way over the top, personally I have moderated less than 6 threads/issues in 8 months? and all for reasons of T&C breaking. Maybe because i actually TELL people when i moderate things i get a bad press? Trust me the moderation on this forum is intentionally light, that is why when something happens people turn it into a big deal, I'm a member of forums which are moderated to a level 200times higher than this, I think it is nice that moderation is light on this forum. Please show where I have incorrectly moderated, because I nor any other member of the moderator /commitee pool believe I have done anything which is outside of the moderator T&C. MArk resigned as a commitee member, he was asked to keep a role as a moderator. moderators are selected by the commitee.

I probably worded that wrong, meant to be along lines of its a car club, there is no need for all this flair up all the time, it doesnt matter anyway, no matter what i say it won't be right :) I always answer questions on here in same manner as I do at meets, i'm always as open as i think i can be,

x-biker The reason being that the correct manner in which to addres these complaints is to contac the club secretary and wait for an answer from the commitee as a whole, which can take time. My answers may be deemed as political but that is because I cannot make an official stance on the decisions of the commitee without their full backing, I do not try to shut the other person down, I am more willing to reply to people when they reply to me, this is what a debate is all about. Of course I could say exactly what I feel in the true words of an essex boy but at the end of the day I have a responisbility to both answer the question AND not break commitee rules or offend or put other commitee members in a position they may not like to be in. At the end of the day this is a car club for the Nissan 300zx, the commitee is elected annually and they are in charge of running the club, the forum is a section of the club and not the club as such. Personally I try to be as open as I think I can be, but if pushed I will not stray from my original stance, i'm sorry but I do not usually break because I am asked the same question 10 times, I answer the question to the best of my ability the first time.

No i do not accept any money from the club, I do not ask for money and I have refused money. I do not at the same time run around telling everybody that fact, this is probably the first time it has been mentioned by myself. Infact I even pay my £20 renewal each year for club membership!! Threads I have moderated in past few months from my own memory Locked matties thread removed two threads that I felt were started with the intention to cause argument on the forum. thats about it really. so I do not think you are justified in claiming I over moderate or that this forum is overmoderated, fact of the matter it there is so little moderation on this forum and it only happens when there is trouble about to kick off, people do not accept original moderation desicions or there are people out to trade for free.

I provide hosting for this site, I provide the banwidth for this site, i have provided two servers for this site to run on, I am the one who drives down to fix the server, i am the one who has bought out of his own pocket hardware to replace broken hardware from sennas server. I am the one who has never asked for a penny to do this. I wake up at 3am when im alerted of problems with the site. I am a member of the commitee and as such have as much input in this club as every other commitee member, this includes an moderator role. I was approached by craig along with the rest of the commitee to undertake this role. With reguards to my admin role, I am responsible for the software upgrades of the server, I am responsible for the software upgrades of the forum software, I am responsible for the new look of the site, I am responsible for keeping the rides section running, I am responsible for answering technical questions reguarding the forum and ensuring the smooth running of the forum. my role is not one for you to question.
