  5. urm guys be careful on the a127, there are active patrols with undercover cars at weekends now, you can drive up there and see at least 3 cars pulled over in a 5 mile stretch most of the time.

  7. Probably the sealent on the pump has corroded, if you've gone to the effort of taking it off you may as well put a new one on and resealing. You don't need to do your cam belt at the same time, I didn't bother, but that just means I have to strip the whole car down again in a few months to change it then,

  14. the ease of mind that comes from fitting it will be greater than the cost involved in purchasing it, my philosophy is that its cheaper in the long term to replace parts than wait for them to break.
  15. Well the applied force will be to the rollers, so the only actual measurement you can take as real is the one where the actual work is being measured, everything else is just an estimate. If you stuck the measuring decivce to the flywheel then that would be the actual figure.
  16. Torque is just potential energy, its a rotational force which has to be applied through a turn (angle of rotation rotation) then you have your simple power equation. Power = Torque * rotation rate To convert to BHP you divide by 5252
  17. Looked for info a while back, I couldn't find anything online, they don't seem too popular with the skyline lads. around 130ps i saw on one site but there is was such a lack of info i couldn't confirm that one way or the other
