urm guys be careful on the a127, there are active patrols with undercover cars at weekends now, you can drive up there and see at least 3 cars pulled over in a 5 mile stretch most of the time.

Probably the sealent on the pump has corroded, if you've gone to the effort of taking it off you may as well put a new one on and resealing. You don't need to do your cam belt at the same time, I didn't bother, but that just means I have to strip the whole car down again in a few months to change it then,

I use mark at M&A auto in stock road speak to Mark @ 01702 460159 The usually have a 2-3 week wait but when you car goes in they work on it until they are done. I've always had my car back within the time they've said.
