  1. Personally I think Lamborghinis look better than they've ever been. The Gallardo is their best yet and more importantly, doesn't come with stupid doors. Gallardo is also one of my all time favourite looking cars.
  2. It weighs the same as a Zed by the way. lol
  3. I do believe that the last of the truly gorgeous Ferraris was the F355. None of the new, although more impressive metal comes close to looking anywhere near as nice. This can't be more apparent than in the shape of the new 599. Personally, I think it looks like regurgitated ass. Not sure if anyone's seen photos of it yet. The mechanicals are great with a top speed of 205mph and it uses the Enzo's engine coupled to a 6 speed F1 transmission. Anyway, here it is. Ugly as sin isn't it. Mind you, sighting it next to the glorious F40 probably does it no favours what so ever. Specification Price: £171,825 Engine: 5999cc 48 valve V12, petrol Power: 611bhp at 7600rpm Torque: 448lb/ft at 5600rpm Performance: 0-62mph 3.7 seconds, 205mph top speed Fuel economy: 21.3mpg combined CO2 emissions: 490g/km
  4. Yes it does count as the MK1 Cavalier Coupe was an early version of the same car. Love Mantas Believe this or not, this is a MK1 Cavalier Coupe with a Mantzel Evolution kit on it. Personally, I'm a bit of a Monza fan...
  5. What's with the signature then? "Vi veri universum vivus vici" Latin for "By the power of Truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe" it would appear.
  6. Something at work has, although it doesn't affect me directly. Anything gone wrong for anyone today? I know gruntpa64's Friday the 13th was actually yesterday.
  7. Chevette HSR was a nice bit of kit! All part of the DNG. :)
  8. Didn't I suss this out at the beginning of the thread? LOL I bet scientists have spent millions of pounds in research to come up with the above. In much the same way as scientists have just discovered what makes toast fall butter side down....again, millions of pounds of research. Donate it to charity...don't think anyone's really that bothered.
  9. Turn it on and see what happens. ;)

  11. Christ....that needs some serious re-wording. So you have a switch ontop of your existing foglight switch? Can't work out what the second sentence means other than the fact that you want to know how to take the clocks out.
  12. Claim to fame! I'd love mine to be on a TV show/pop video/film. Doubt it'll ever happen.
  13. Exactly, infitting with the rest of the car.
  14. Lovely car. Should have left the original nose panel on though. I remember seeing pics of that. Wasn't it on the old Top Gear thing that Steve Berry did?
  15. Peals do indeed 'yellow' overtime. My pearlwhite has done the same and you'll only tell when you get bits sprayed. So I'm having to have my entire car repainted. Ho-hum...as much as that's a pain, fresh pearl white is so much nicer than faided yellowy 15 year old pearl white.
  16. 10 year old? Mmmmmm, that'll put it at around an P/R plate? If he's not deadlocked it, then it's not too difficult to unlock them. Call a car security specialist. Quite often they can come out and pop the locks for you. He should be able to get a new key cut. Inside the tailgate of most Vauxhalls from that age, there should be a number stamped on the back of lock mechanism which is behind the trim. From what I can recall, this is the code for Vauxhall to use in making a new key. If your mate has no luck, then he'll indeed have to change the locks. This can be a pain as after 94, Vauxhall introduced an ECU transponder imobilser. So he'll have to get a replacement ECU with a corresponding key. Best thing to do is to go to Vauxhall. Even if he does manage to get another key cut, he'll have to get the key programmed so that it'll activate the imobiliser.
  17. I hope they'll let you specify where you can take it.
  18. That's terrible mate!!!! Please tell me you have a runabout and it was that which was damaged.
  19. Yeah very nice rims. I had access to 2 sets of those recently, but didn't manage to secure them in the end. Look great on a Z.
  20. 225 on a 8.5" wide rim is going to look really silly. If you're worried about handling, then 19s may not have been the best idea.
  21. .....it's half the reason I did this to my bumpers....so that it would extenuate the crisp and clean appearance of the exhaust. Want it to glow as the bumpers reflect off it.
  22. Deffinately. Absolutely stunning, the quality of workmanship and materials are the best bar none. Can see why they are £1,600+ when new. Did you get yours from AndyZ?
  23. Cracking program that!!!
  24. Do you not agree they make the nicest but also refined burble? Have you got anyone to drive it while you've sat out of the car and listened? Just sounds fantastic. Not loud, not quiet, not harsh, just a lovely deep noise.
  25. Love the back end of yours mate. If I'd have gone for a silver Zed (joint 1st choice with pearl) then I'd have gone down that route for sure.
