  1. Yes, it's only a notch cut in the hub for the sensor to sit in. The TT hub is fine on an NA. The indicator switch is connected further down the column, it has no effect on the hub selection.
  2. So sorry to hear Rich. Do please take care of yourself.
  3. ....and that's one of the points I made - you need to know as you need to know for insurance purposes. ;) :) Nice Elise by the way, not really my thing, but they are a hoot to drive. :)
  4. Didn't think you cared so much about their values.....see it is important. ;)
  5. They do have the same Sumitomo brakes (I think there are some extremely subtle differences), however the late V-Spec model of the R32 GTR has the same Brembo calipers as fitted to the R33GTR and R34GTR.
  6. Crock of shite. No such development vehicle exists. Why would Nissan give a 'Nismo' name to a car being tested for another manufacturer's components? The only NISMO stuff available for the Z32 were things like bushes etc, but that's because they were also used on Skyline and S-chassis cars. There are a few other Nismo generic branded things like shifters etc, but nothing Z32 specific. Looks like a nice car though, but would benefit with having those nasty headlight stickers removed and the cheap looking Halford decals stuck to the rear end removed. Strange goings on under the rear bumper. Few other nasties, the turd-coloured retrim is questionable and what the hell is going on with the re-positioned indicators and the empty hole with a bit of wire across it? That's hilarious. The Tein/Stock suspension info is nonsense also.....and not sure quite what's been done with the brakes, I guess he's talking about the disks although they don't look any larger than stock.
  7. Mirror control unit came from a friend who knows someone in Japan that had access to a few new ones. About £60 for that. The centre panel is around £120, I bought the screw covers and screw panel which pushed it to about £160
  8. New stuff has arrived! All very rare and not available new anymore. 89+ original spoiler - possibly the last new one ever as they've been NLS a while now. JDM mirror controls. All new to match all the other new plastics. Not rare stuff: new OEM.centre console and polished clock plastic. New top-spec Alpine single DIN head unit. Have all new trim clips and covers for this too.
  9. I'm driving one of those from Dallas to Austin next year for Zcon. They're great little fun cars to drive, I was lucky enough to drive one last year.
  10. I know this is a bit of a long shot, just wondering if anyone has a 2+2 boot from an 89-93 car, the one with the early spoiler. Don't care what condition the spoiler is in, don't even care what condition the paint is in as long as it's solid and has all the original holes for the spoiler and wiper arm.
  11. You have a valid point, yes!
  12. You can't get bolt-on huncentric spacers in 10mm, the smallest you can get is 15mm. You'll need hubcentric 10mm and longer studs. You should still be able to get more than 3 turns on the standard studs with only 10mm, so Chris, that makes no sense. Are you sure yours aren't 15mm?
  13. Do not leave those as they are! Chrome/ polished wipers? Might as well go and buy a Morris Marina! Worst idea ever. Body colour wiper arms are nasty too.
  14. No decorations here, waayyyy too early...and besides, I'll be 6,000 miles away! :)
  15. No, of course not, but having only recently been made aware of a genuine new one floating about, it wasn't always an option!!
  16. Didn't see this coming! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/38185846
  17. This is it, quality and fitment are paramount to me. Having seen AndrewG's new OEM spoiler, the fit and finish are sublime, nothing you get from a fibreglass replica. You can get replicas for £100, but I've rarely seen one that fits as well as an original, some are better than others, they feel totally different too. I'm done with aftermarket plastics and exterior body trim.
  18. I really like the 94+ spoiler actually. I didn't years ago, but they've really grown on me. I do know of one that's on a breaker at a friend's place, I'll ask him at the weekend whether it's available.
  19. I've replaced all my fuel lines with brand new Nissan ones. A trick is to use the newer spring clips rather than the old clamp style ones as they're zero-maintenance. Unless you're going for full AN fittings upgrade, I'd steer clear of those large ugly braided universal style lines that you screw on with jubilee clips. They look terrible and there's absolutely no benefit with them, they're just regular rubber hoses underneath. True braided lines with AN fittings will use a Teflon sleeve inside of the braid and are a worthy upgrade.
  20. Yup, a couple found their way into the country somehow.
  21. Think you're looking at the wrong thing. lol This horrid thing I'd class as having an ironing board on the back, not the 94+. If anything, the 99-spec looks more ironingboardish than the 94+!
  22. Coming from a man who's steering wheel looks like it's got rabies. :p
