  1. I have no idea where my club ID badge is! Lost it about 10 years ago.
  2. Yup, these guys are excellent. I buy all available parts through these guys now and some odds and ends from my local Nissan dealership and any NLS parts I'll then go to the US for. If only Mike had a good online store. I tend to sit and order parts and evenings and weekends, something you can't do unless there's an online way of ordering.
  3. Yeah very. He even introduced me to his wife and responded to my photos on his Facebook.....he never does that with anyone else! It was very humbling for me! "Simon he from Engerand" he said to his wife.

  5. Meeting the guy in person last month was such an honour. Thoroughly nice guy and very interesting presentation he did.
  6. They're more expensive from Nissan, but they were available next-day and I knew they would fit. I have tried universal fasteners and whilst some (the rivets) have been fairly good, other ones didn't fit. The plastic in the Nissan fasteners is really good quality and feels a little more dense.
  7. The plastic grommets that snap into the tin frames that clip to the corners of the front bumper wear through. Rather than risk the time and expense of replacing said frames with new ones (as the grommets aren't available separately), I discovered a way of giving them a new lease of life. In my quest to get the best panel fitment as I could, I've replaced all the other wing grommets I could. I noticed that the lower portion of the front wing (where the very bottom of the arch liner secures) looks very similar so bought a bunch. As you can see, they're slightly different, but fit the same sized cutouts. Fitted. Part number. 300ZX front bumpers have tendency to bow out slightly and by this fix, you can pull the dropsides in a little tighter to the arch liner and bracket giving a better fit.
  8. Think they're just held on with friction, they're pressed on, least mine was from memory. I took mine off.
  9. Indeed! I have a spare new clip here somewhere. The main unit is in the Merc.
  10. More pics : Almost done! Passenger side is anyway other than the t-top which I need to build up, however the bumpers are now aligned and fully secured and I'm happy with how it looks. You can see the metallic flecks sparkling in the sun. Also fully tested my 'hidden' bluetooth microphone. It looks great and the plastics' colours match, it's also crystal clear according to my folks who were the guinea pigs! Just got to get rid of the sticker residue.
  11. Depends on what CZP mark it down as. Usually it will be 20% of the value and a handling fee.
  12. It is! Frustrating as my Z has never really suffered with problems until now so I've never had to fix any electrical gremlins on it before. Glad it was injector 1 that had failed.
  13. Dimmer only controls light output on the clocks. ;)
  14. Son of a whore! It popped eventually! Won't be able to self-gratify for a while however! My wrist! God damn it! Lubed up the new one, popped it in and reconnected everything else, she's now runnin' on 6 again!
  15. Managed to get the screws and cap off, but, try as hard as I might, I can't get the injector out of the rail. Any tips? No matter what method I use for bracing, it won't pull out.
  16. That'll keep your genitals cool in this weather Andy.
  17. Worst in Europe I've ever experienced is probably Portugal too, but that pales into insignificance with what I experienced in India. Truly shocking and I do not know how more people there aren't killed. If you stop at a red light for example you get beeped at.....no one stops at red lights.
  18. I think you misinterpreted what I meant. It wasn't the connector,it was the hub in relation to the wheel. The connector/sensor is where it should be at the top.
  19. What did I get wrong? Not quite sure what you're asking....
  20. Yup, leave 'em off. They look a little 'home-made'. That throttle linkage is actually a nice looking bit of engineering if all cleaned up.
