Starter motor finally dispatched and should be with me on Thursday for fitting on Saturday! Hopefully no more embarrassing 'can you help push' situations! 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres ordered. I had slightly oversized tyres on the front of my Z, so have gone from a 265 30 19 to a 255 30 19.....and because I have OCD, I decided to order exactly the same tyre model for my rears (285 30 19). Unfortunately Pirelli don't do a 255 30 19 in the same tread pattern as the rear...well, they do, but it's a run-flat option only. I should now be able to fit my front coilovers and drop it a little (and will raise the rear slightly too).

I concede, that does look good. :)

Haha I knew the forecast would be fine for the way up and back. Didn't mind a light drizzle, I was fine with that, but yes I probably would have waited until the roads were dry! :lol:

....apart from the chap in the diarrhoea coloured Z with the egg carton wheel arches who thought it would be an awesome idea to do a huge burnout at a set of traffic lights in front of one of our member's cars taking nice chunks of paint off his front bumper with all the flying stones. If he'd done that in front of my car, he'd be wearing his ass on his face.

Thankfully it didn't rain there or on the return leg, just a very light shower about 11. Really warm too.

Absolute pleasure Dave, it was great to see you and you're looking very well. Offer of help there when you need it with your Z when the big repaint comes! More than happy to pop up too although you seem more proficient than I!

As Jeff has alluded to, Z32 cats are pretty free-flowing anyway, I wouldn't replace them with 'sports cats'.

You could just find another bonnet for the time being in the same colour. :)

Go on to http://www.fancyplates.com. I can give you the measurement if you want to get another rear plate made up. It's not expensive, I think under £20 delivered. Used these guys for years and they're very good.

Why don't you not name it? I've never called my Z a name.....other than '****' and '******* piece of ****'. Don't think I've named any of my cars to be honest.

I'd be more concerned at that horrendous steering wheel. At what point did the owner think 'what a lovely looking wheel, red will go so well.....' nasty nasty nasty steering wheel! :lol:
