  1. ...if I had to choose the above, then it would be the clear. The tinted ones look a little too home-made.
  2. Red. ;) to go with a set of JDM/99 tail lights.
  3. ...I still wished I'd held out for a good silver Z.
  4. I must say, they don't look too offensive on yours and is probably the ONLY Z I've seen where they look ok. I'd still of course prefer it with 99's, but, as I've said, the whole car still looks great.
  5. I think if you had a bulge on the nose cone, it would have worked with the old bonnet. Like this... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=108791 I do quite like the new one. Yours is one of my favourite wide arch Zs anyway (even with the caravan rear lights ;) ), so it all still looks good.
  6. What did you strip? An N/A or TT?
  7. I actually prefered your previous bonnet, it was a nice smooth look from the front of yours, but I guess function over form. :)
  8. It's something that happened ages ago and haven't ever sorted out. When I had the engine rebuilt the column was disconnected from the rack because the subframe was moved to get the engine out, when refitted, it was fitted off-centre and so when the wheels are in a straight line, the HICAS thinks it's actually making very mild turn to the right (as the HICAS boss is telling it) so it then adjusts accordingly and has a hissy fit then turns off as it gets confused! LOL. I'm rebuilding all the suspension as from next weekend I hope, so it's something that I'll sort then as I'm having all the castor and camber set too. So want it all working 101%.
  9. I don't rate it, although it looks well executed, rear lights are good if they weren't blue.
  10. Thanks John. Thought it might have been. My car has an aftermarket wheel on it, and therefore has been unplugged. Not sure what would do if I plugged it back in? Nothing I'd imagine.
  11. Portishead...North Somerset I guess...or just on the boarder with 'Bristol'
  12. How can that be when it works? The HICAS light will come on over a certain speed because my tracking is out to such a degree and HICAS boss is on the cock that the steering wheel turns as I accelerate. Hicas check light comes on when the car is started and goes out as per normal operation.
  13. It's a repeat. Was on a few times last year. Very strange it is.
  14. Nope, see the little black connector beneath it? That's the only thing I can see that would marry up with it and it's routed as such.
  15. She hates them as much as I hate tacky bodykits for Zs!
  16. If you look out the back of my house you see a view similar to this. From the front, very little.
  17. Until you see its arse! Subaru did a good job of face lifting it. The bug eyed thing before used to hurt my eyes.
  18. Thanks Jaz. So it is an auto-transmission ECU judging by that photo. Can anyone confirm?
  19. Thanks for that, but for some reason, I can't get it to download.
  20. I know this has been out for some time now, but I'm sat here watching WRC on Dave and it reminded me how non-descript these things now look. I've never been a fan of the Impreza, I don't mind the first breed and especially the P1, but the stigma they now have, the terrible interior and the ugly looking newer models really leave me dis-interested. But this, the new car...Jesus H. Christ, I don't think that Subaru could have designed a more boring looking and staid vehicle. The 'Brat' looked more stylish and exciting. It looks and reminds me of the Kia C'eed. A boring looking family hatchback. Whilst the previous Impreza was ugly, at least it was eye-catching. This however...is, well, you just wouldn't even bat an eye-lid. There is a saloon version being launched soon, but that looks just like the Chevrolet Lacetti from the back. I don't even know if this is being offered in Europe. New Evo, which is the first one I've actually liked the look of looks a million times better.
  21. Yes, the rubber is just a trim, but I call it a weather seal.
