  1. Looks like a MK5 Golf/Astra cross-breed. Headlights look nice, the rest is just a mildly jazzed up hatchback rather than the more coupe-esque appearance of the original. Does little for me I'm afraid. Not into the Dub scene, so don't really like it for that reason either.

It's not that, some of the Ratters actually purposfully go out of their way to make it look like a heap of shit. Yes, they'll rub down the paint, leave it to scab over and then lacquer over it!
  3. Same bodies. If you look at them stripped from the rear they are near identical. The Trans-Ams and Camaros share the same body and floor pan. Front ends and tail lights differed as did the interiors.
  4. 1. 78 - 83 Camaro (Gen 3 I believe) 2. Fiat 500 (Mk1) ('Topalino' was purely the name given to the first batch of 500s iirc) 3. Dodge Charger circa 1969 4. 70s Cadillac DeVille? Not sure on this one. 5. Alfa Giulietta 6. Ford Model B? I'll have a think about that one as I don't think it is a 'B'.
  5. ...or oil blowback caused by shagged rings giving an over-pressurised crank case. You checked to see if your dip-stick has been pushed out of its tube?

To me, that just looks like a tatty heap. It's covered in cable ties. I'd be ashamed to be seen in that, let alone drive it regardless of what it had under the bonnet.
  7. ....you can order them from here too if you like them. http://www.autoplates.com/prod029.htm
  8. Some JDMs came with illiminated side markers and some didn't. The wiring is actually there. I added mine. ...and yes, that's a Jap plate.
  9. Great photos! What a perfect stance too! Very nice.
  10. Semi-interested in the Stillen sway bars, price dependant. I have most of the other stuff already.
  11. New paint job won't make it go any better and the engine rebuild was pretty much due to a fault that happened at the start of ownership and the rebuilt engine was fitted 2 years ago.
  12. Nearly 3 years for me. Apart from the problems at the start of ownership, the car's been fantastic! Apart from a dead battery and a dodgy TPS wire, it's not let me down. Starts first time, exhaust is as clean as a whistle, engine so silky smooth. :) Just need it to be Summer AND have the interior and suspension rebuild finished! LOL
  13. Are you using the old wiring with the little Bose speaker amp?
  14. Twins IMHO. Looks far better. Fiestas come with single pipes. Some Zs can wear them though with specially modified rear bumpers, but it still doesn't look as good as twins. Some people rave about the sound from a single can, but personally, I prefer the burble from 2 seperate cans. Sounds much nicer IMHO. Always looks like something's fallen off.
  15. You wanted to get another autospastic though didn't you? ;)
  16. Why was it running safety boost in the first place though?
  17. @ gazzerr1 :bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow: :tongue:
  18. Did the server go down?

    Jail?
  20. Just measure the distance between the wing lip and the outer edge of the tyre and then work on that basis.
  21. -30 to -35. It's not -45.
  22. With slide on spacers, you're extending the force outwards. The spacer is just the media in between, it has little value as a support for lateral forces. Bolt on spacers spread the load on the studs. Not saying don't do it, it's just if you're going 15mm+ then personally I'd go for bolt on spacers as you're spreading the load.
  23. Looks quite interesting. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Shift-At-Will-Paddle-Shift-System-for-Nissan-300ZX_W0QQitemZ160234278273QQcmdZViewItem
  24. Regardless if length, you have more stress on them.
