  1. Does look a lot better than it did, certainly. I'd get that mesh either powder coated satin black or replaced with something nicer so that it doesn't look like like it started life in a rabbit hutch. :)
  2. NA Supra. Expect he was pretty devastated after owning a TTZ.
  3. Placebo is a wonderful thing. It's junk stuff. If your connectors are clean, then there's absolutely no need for additional earthing points. Junk it. It wasn't cheap either.
  4. Sold that years ago. He last had a battered S15 that he used for drifting.
  5. Does not surprised me one bit.
  6. Trying to recall some of the funny and rather pointless Z32 related modifications of the time (other than dump valves). Stuff that's gone out of favour (thankfully): *Shrimpy's grounding kit *Chromed headlights *Mesh in the front bumper *Carbon bonnets (which weigh about the same as a stock bonnet).
  7. Aaaah! Other way round then! Sideshowbob got a black one after that from memory. It was a lovely car that pearl yellow.
  8. Into chaving up Fords now. I stayed at a hotel in Derby last week and saw him parked up in the McDonald's there just across the way in the 'Automodz' stickered up Focus.
  9. Nope, well maybe he sold it on, but back in the day, it was owned by wheelman.
  10. Nissan either would have changed manufacturing suppliers and/or made minor changes to construction. Sometimes they are also a superceded part number. It's not uncommon for what appears to be an identical part to have a number of different part numbers. FWIW, JDM and Euro early style spoilers are the same. It's only the brakelight/blank that is different and you can simply swap that over from your existing spoiler.
  11. Done. See above post. The part numbers are from nissan4u which is bona-fide.
  12. I highly advise you invest in an original. They can be futureproofed. The main benefits are, they are nice to the touch, great moulding, so no waviness and most importantly, they actually fit beautifully. I have yet to see a 'replica' that actually fits properly or is identical to the original. They bulge out in odd places, they don't sit snug and they are horrible to the touch.
  13. Showing 2 listings - both are suggesting availability, but until you try to buy and they place the order with Nissan, you won't know. http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/search.php?search_query=J603042P00&x=0&y=0 http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/search.php?search_query=J603042P25&x=0&y=0
  14. You don't know until you try to order. If you're getting nowhere with Ash, try http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk
  15. Thanks guys. :) Yeah, it looks much fresher now and the blue glass made a HUGE but very subtle change to the overall look. Wasn't easy finding good quality used glass, but I think I did well with what I sourced. Even managed to get JDM blue T-tops with absolutely no milkyness along the sides which is a common problem with Zs left outside. I rarely see them in good condition (my originals were near mint, so had to replace them with the best I could find).
  16. Alas, the *******s of Photobucket stole most of my historical photos. - - - Updated - - - Now
  17. You'll hate it. The 2+2 looks really dowdy without a wing. The previous owner of my Z in Japan removed its original and I tried for a good few years to like it, but just couldn't.
  18. I see Wheelman's yellow Z right in the background there. Lovely car that was, no idea what happened to that.
  19. I can see my Z there....just! I think I was parked next to monaghanroyal.
  20. Don't be a stranger Darren, you were always good fun to have on the forum.
  21. Increased visibility!? Neither the 94+ or 99 spec do anything for visibility. Early ones are completely unobscuring though. :)
  22. If you used your noodle, you'd go onto his Facebook and download the 20+ photos he has of it.
