1995 Silver Series IV Slicktop Version S - Taking To Another Level
Still, ditch the halos. It just reminds me of someone who has a 316SE who's fitted them. ?

Somehow doubt Jim would have endorsed those red hoses, the multitudes of 'Z' bracketry and the bright red SLICKTOP thing! ?

Nice work! Time to 'de-tatt' the engine bay now Andy!

Jimmer Jimmer Chicken dinner - would use or trust no one else for Z32 work than PowerZed.

How do you Dyno a 300ZX automatic?
You need to remove the automatic transmission, replace with a manual transmission and try again. ?

Yellow UK 300zx
If it was absolutely pristine, possibly, but crusty sill returns, overspray and colander mesh do not make a £19k Z. With some work, it would be very nice, but it's just not nice enough to command that premium. I'm still glad the Z32 didn't feature in the F&F movie franchise. Apart from being some of the worst and over rated action movies to come out of Hollywood, it was single handedly responsible for some of the most horrendously modified cars known to man across the globe. People's feeble attempts to emulate their poorly acting heroes was comical. The Z32 remained in the shadows and that's partly why I like them so much. People question it, wonder what it is and want to talk about it.

91 300zx with 57,000 miles to the highest bidder
Get yourself some NHS test kits. I started exhibiting symptoms before testing positive. I'm sure you're ok, but just check. ?

91 300zx with 57,000 miles to the highest bidder
He's got so many though. I've driven 4 of his cars. 370z Nismo, 300zx Convertible (both of 'em) and a 2+2 (actually that and one of the convertibles is his wife's). I'm pretty good thanks, just getting over Covid (despite being double vaccinated since May). Had it pretty rough but thankfully didn't end up in hospital! Hope you're well!

Alternative front seats
BTW, I did get passenger seat foam and had it swapped over. Made a massive difference although my bolster was in good condition, I just wanted it to look and feel like brand new. You can buy new foams too I think from CZP. At least you used to.

Alternative front seats
Couldn't agree more. Seat comfort for the Z32 is incredible. I was always surprised how well I felt after a long drive, especially a trans continental drive. I never ever felt uncomfortable, not matter how long the drive yet much more modern cars, seat comfort is nowhere near as good. My 2 year old Mercedes, not as comfortable, my Aston Martin, not as comfortable. Both are comfy though, just not as comfortable as the seats in a 300zx - I'd personally never change them from the original design.

Who took their Zed out today....?
Pissing down all day here today, same again tomorrow and Monday. The Aston stays in the garage (the Z would have done too).

Brexit Poll

All in good jest gents - just venting not criticising your own personal decisions towards this - we all have different reasons for preferencing one thing over another.

Brexit Poll
My very worn out EU passport. I still have 5 years left of this (albeit in name only), but I'll get a nice purple cover with EU markings over it to cover up the embarrassment of the replacement when I have to get one of those. ??

Brexit Poll
It's far from finished; little UK thinking the EU will struggle without us and dissolve? UK has more to lose than Europe will ever do and has already started down that path with various car plants scheduled to close, huge financial services moving to continental Europe - the UK's not the powerhouse that many of its nationals think it is and now all that is compounded by COVID. It's a sh*tstorm on gargantuan proportions. All because of a preference for blue passports, a dated argument over sovereignty, restricting European citizens' right to work and can apply a few of our on 'BSI' type standards and sell more what to whom, all those extra trade agreements? Global trade preferencing the UK over the entire EU? Who will favour investing? The trade agreements are quite hilarious, especially when comparing them to places like Australia etc which is what many pro-Brexit pundits have done - markets couldn't be any more different if they tried. It is done now and I do just want to get in with it, but I will always be thinking that it's a huge mistake. I would of course love to eat my words in 5-10 years when the mess that COVID has caused and policies and trade have had time to mature. ?

Brexit Poll
I am fully aware of geographical and continental landmasses Marty, but thanks. ? No, it's no more a concern than national/home-grown security issues. I'm an internationalist and a purveyor of global unity for the greater good of all, not just one entity (the one I happen to live in) - things have to evolve and continue. No, you're right, you'll never please all countries, but you find common ground at that macro level just as you do at a micro level within country borders. I desperately hope it will work, but as a country we've gained absolutely nothing from this.

Brexit Poll
Sounds shite to be honest. This so-called 'sovereignty' which has been the backbone of all these arguments is a dated and unappealing concept dating to a time were Britain and the world was in a very very different place. I've still yet to see a single compelling argument in leaving the EU, not one. The majority of the time, the UK got exemptions to EU policy, it got its own way a LOT. This whole exercise has given the UK northing but a costly exit bill with nothing to show and reduced mobility. The insurance and investment policy that is the EU has now gone, we are going it alone like the selfish brat the country has been and to hell with everyone else. I just don't get it, I don't get this whole thing at all. Regression and devolution is not the way forward.

Short gear shifter
I've driven a huge number of Z32 over the years, some of them with a 'short throw shifter' fitted and they're absolutely HATEFUL. The stock throw is fairly short, the only thing that needs doing is the bushes replacing. You can go for the bronze ones, but honestly, the nicest feeling are a new set of stock nylon bushes. Short Throw Shifters are about as over rated as Christmas and football.

Still no decorations up and I really can't be bothered with purchasing and installing Christmas tat to Chez Simone.

It flys like a bird
You'd be surprised. The odd horror pops up, but it's few and far between thankfully. I don't think any car marque has been immune from being ruined. Seen some terrible Bentleys and Rolls Royces which have been touched by the hands of people with absolutely no taste or style.

It flys like a bird
Proper 'council estate touring car' that one. Not sure the owner read back what he'd written, awful advert, as bad as the car. Whilst the Vile-side bodykit is ghastly, the majority of that car could be fixed by simply removing all the dreadful 'magpie' autojumble add ons and the donkey-dick exhausts which make the car look like a wheelbarrow. Steering wheel and bin-liner window tints are pretty comical too. It's like the owner just looked through magazines of various genres blind folded and played 'pin the nail on the donkey' when making their selection of Christmas-cracker parts. The sound system looks like it was thrown in there from 30ft away. Thalidomide mirrors don't do it much favours either. Shoddy.
