  1. Can't you take apart the clocks you have just bought and take out the speedo unit and swap it into the my old clocks? Might be worth a try.
  2. I have a spare set of S1 UK clocks with an inoperable speedo. You're welcome to have that for the cost of postage if you need to use it for spares.
  3. UK models weren't available in series 4 trim, nor were UK models available with an airbag and I don't even think they were available as an option.
  4. And where would you put that? That's just one of those 'universal fit' things that automatically lists every single car. Type in 300zx wheeltrim and you'll see what I mean. Unless you remove the existing aerial, fit a roof mounted one where I have where the wash squirter was and then screw this to it, this won't fit anything.
  5. Pretty sure you can check whether the switch works on ConZult. You done that yet?
  6. This is something I asked about 10 years ago. I am surprised that one one has developed a single din slot unit for cars with double din capacity that could control anything from the boost, to various other metering, to all sorts. The trouble with most of the current model of boost controllers and other associated gauges is, where do you put them so that it looks like it's always been there, not screwed to the dash with all manor of other bits and bobs. Z32s especially look really messy with stuff scattered around on the smooth and swoopy dash. Alas, there is nothing on the market.
  7. Yeah, long range forecast says hot and sunny! That's awesome as it'll be a great start to my holiday and should also mean I take the Z with me!
  8. Oh right. Not far from me, maybe 10 miles? Pop round if you have any time. Let me know in advance as I have to pop up to Gloucester.
  9. If I was a little closer, I'd join you!
  10. Go for it. Looks like it has a decent interior. Looks pretty unmolstered apart from the bumper. Sure you'd get a few quid for it if you decided it wasn't your slice of pie.
  11. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261266683027?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D261266683027%26_rdc%3D1 Can't say I know the car. The photos are terrible though. Looks like it has one of those strange Du-Luck front bumpers. It's an NA....if that was what you're after? Thinking of doing an engine swap?

  13. Nissan hamburger....guess it's kinda round!
  14. Nope, 2013 Nissan Maxima. - - - Updated - - - Altima! I had a Maxima the following week after I'd gotten back from Z1 Motorsports.
  15. Recent one taken a few months ago whilst driving across the Arizona desert. - posing b'stard! Few weeks later after, a friend of mine handed over the keys to his Ferrari California, so I thought it rude not to take out for a thrashing.
  16. More compassion than they show the nation over here. Depends where you are too. The vast majority of the country still feels like it did 15 years ago.
  17. I've used SRP on the lights and perspex panel. It's good, but Mr.Sheen is even better. It's slightly less abrasive and gives a wonderful shine. It's also less effort.
  18. Yeah, that was an NA unfortunately. That was actually commissioned by Nissan and was due to go into production. The whole point of the Straman conversion was that you could turn a factory built Twin Turbo into a full convertible. The hard top Z lived in California for a while and use to go to some of the Supercar Sunday meets. I believe it was bought by a collector in Florida and now lives out there.
  19. Straman are a high end conversion specialist who often built pre-prototype cars for the OEMs. The Z32 convertible was a conversion that was done using the Twin Turbo model. It looks a little different than the regular factory made convertible as it's actually a modified coupe shell. They are pretty rare as I think the conversion was some $10,000. I actually think it looks a little nicer than the factory version as it has a higher waistline...it also has a power hood! This is a pretty grubby looking example, but it shows the lines off. Straman also did a Z31 conversion too.
  20. Damn! That is cheap. I think I paid 4x that amount! haha Been on the car nearly 10 years though, so I can't complain. I got a bargain a few weeks ago when my UK clocks packed up. Found a set for £50 with the correct mileage on it!
  21. Haha! The make the biggest difference. I remember the day I fitted mine. Ordered them brand new and handled them wearing gloves! haha. They cost me a fortune, but the results they gave more than paid for their value.
  22. Get some black Hammerite on those towing eyes. Smartens up the rear a little more too. - - - Updated - - - Best product to polish them with, I've found is actually Mr.Sheen. Brings them up a treat and removes any swirls.
  23. You can't beat the late spec rear lights. They are the absolute best thing you can do to the rump of a Z32.
  24. BEST thing you can do to a Z. It was the very first mod I did to my Z all those years ago. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING comes close to the late-spec lights.
