Come and show your Z off at Haynes Motor Museum next weekend!
Really? Near Salisbury? Resurfacing or something? I'll take A303 to the M3 and then down to the M27 then when I head down to Pompey after.

For those that aren't too sure where it is, it's in Sparkford in beautiful rural Somerset which is just off the A303 trunk road (so very easy to get to and on good roads) about an hour and 45 mins from West London, hour from Southampton/Bournemouth areas, just over an hour from Bristol and about 45 minutes from Exeter.

Come and show your Z off at Haynes Motor Museum next weekend!
Hello everyone.....I hope the committee don't mind me putting this here. I am sure most of you have seen my thread about the Haynes Motor Museum meet in the local regions section. I had a conversation there today with one of the museum co-ordinators and told them of what we're doing and they're very keen to have a Z car gathering there at their 'Rare Breeds' event which takes place at their adjacent runway next Sunday (1st Sept). She is keen for me to get in touch with her with names and cars that are going as she wants to offer a little club plot and some wrist-bands for the event. There are all sorts of different cars there, so if you're interested in strange, rare or interesting vehicles, then this looks likely to float your canoe! So I am just wondering whether anyone else wants to come along? So far we have about 11 names and half of those people are bringing their Z cars. It would be great to have some presence there as there is little Z presence at this event and all sorts of other local car clubs go to this. I know this is the week before JAE, but those in the southern counties might want to come along who don't want to make the trek up north, the weather is forecast to be hot and sunny and the event is free (unless you want to have a mosey around the museum - which I must stress is AWESOME and probably the best in the country!) Big joint Southern, Western and Welsh meet at Haynes Motor Museum - 1st September
Ok, some interesting developments. I have phoned Haynes Motor Museum and spoke to a very nice lady called Caroline who was keen to know of our little gathering and would like to arrange a little club stand for the Z Cars that be turning up. What they do at the 'rare breeds event' is they set it up on their own race track. Caroline was very welcoming regarding the Z Cars, but what I now need is a list ofddefinites who will be bringing thekr Z Cars as she wants to issue wrist bands and assign us an area on the track. There is no cost associated with the event, only the cost of entry to the museum should you want to. We need to be on site by 10, so we kinda need to leave Podimore Services around 9.45. Still meet up the same, those wishing to enter their Z in the show will just check in with the marshals there. Anyone without a Z can jump in with someone with a Z and leave their car in the main car park. Need as much detail as possible for thosr with Z cars. Full names and year of your Z.

Series 4 clocks and Series 1 car...
Nope, if you take out the speedo unit from the main unit, there's a pcb on the back of that and mounted on that is the speedo motor.

Series 4 clocks and Series 1 car...
That's a shame. I've not had later style clock sets apart. Can you detatch the circuit board? On of the resistors on the back of mine has likely popped.
