update on my swb restoration
Truly awesome work! It's soooo nice and refreshing to see a project like this and I wish there were more of them. I'd love to have gone to such lengths with me, I really would, your engine bay looks fantastic.

Big joint Southern, Western and Welsh meet at Haynes Motor Museum - 1st September
Think it would be a good thing to have a bit of a pre-meet meet...if that makes sense. There will be quite a few people turning up without their Z cars, so it would be good to catch up with everyone for half an hour before heading over. I'll try. I'll give them a call tomorrow. Sent so many updated lists, but I can't imagine there'll be a problem. Be good to have you along.

Rear side markers and front side markers...
I am wonder whether it was actually an option on JDM models. Mine had the wiring there, but didn't have the bulb holders in, just reflector corner markers. You can tell those that came with them fitted OEM, they should also turn on when you press the fog light switch with the main lights off. I'd imagine it's some sort of park function. If my ignition and lights are all off and I press the fog light switch, the corner markers illuminate. They then also illuminate with the main lights on.

Bit earlier if you can mate.

Have i got a bolt missing on my gearbox??
No, it's only a bit of tin to stop grit and gravel getting in there and it's best it wouldn't hold the oil back as you wouldn't want the bell housing filling up with oil.

Have i got a bolt missing on my gearbox??
That bolt only holds the clutch cover plate on. If you have oil coming from that area, it could be the main seal.

removed some junk from my z
I couldn't live without cruise. I use it all the time. Both of my cars have it and the last 10 cars I've had have had it. I do a lot of long distance high speed cruising and I fit it essential.

removed some junk from my z
Absolutely. Any lux sports car has AC and cruise.

removed some junk from my z
I would NEVER give up AC.

We have another 260Z coming along also! Shame the 350 guys seem about as interested as receiving a copy of The Watchtower from the JWs. Nothing new there though, would have been nice to have a 350 there at least 1!

Good news!
Why on earth is there a twin turbo badge on the back of it? Agreed, it doesn't look anything special. Nothing like yours Gary.
