Wired them on red to blue and back to green/brown. It's all working.

I believe green/red (P) and blue/white (n) are the correct ones.

If I want to take power from the clock to run a feed to my EBC, which are the best wires to take that feed from? Assuming the black being the ground, but there are two lives, a switched live from the ignition and a permanent live from the battery. I'm guessing I'll need the switched live? Would the Greddy Profec B lose its settings however if the switched live was used?

What did you do to your zed today?
Thoroughly good clean after a long road trip through parts of Eastern and northern France. All ready for Beaulieu next weekend. :) Just the exhausts to finish off.

Stevens Car - My Statement
Mistakes do get made Gary, I agree (although this one was wholly avoidable), but it's how that mistake is handled and dealt with afterwards that's the crux.....in this case, it wasn't.

Stevens Car - My Statement
Indeed and I'm not importing/sourcing cars.... It's easy enough to obtain high resolution photos of a car you're looking at bidding on if you're doing it the correct way. Before gambling other people's money, I'd make absolutely sure that what I'm bidding on was what I hoped/expected it to be; it's called due diligence. It was pretty obvious TBH. I'm just puzzled as to how all this was missed. I was puzzled when the car with no VIN plate was also missed.

Stevens Car - My Statement
How could you not see or miss what I saw? It was glaringly obvious. A white car with white everything that's not supposed to be white. Even if Steve was OK with a worn interior, shouldn't that have been alarm bells for you to avoid? A low mileage car shouldn't have a worn out interior, especially one to that degree. Irrespective of whether Steve was accepting of that, it should have raised question marks for you as to whether it was bona-fide or not.

Stevens Car - My Statement
Looks like my previous post went completely unanswered. Why didn't you steer Steve away from this particular car? You actually found it and passed him the detail; as a responsible person you should have steered him away from it. It was pretty obvious all was not right with it, I could see that with my own eyes with the limited information and photos. Paint everywhere, worn out interior. The buyer is often naïve as they are putting their trust in you to find the cars. Why you did you suggest this vehicle to him?

Video looks good. Sucks about all the parking on the grass. If there's any amount of rain, that will be a nightmare. If dry, I am interested. :)

As long as the chav element is in as small a number as possible. I do find these types of events can attract them although I like the idea of going. :) It's one thing I never liked about Japfest. Felt like I was spending time with chavy Max Power types.

Interesting. Might go to this. I used to live in Worcester so might stay with some friends there and then head to this if I can.

Stevens Car - My Statement
I'm struggling to understand as to why you'd have steered him toward it. Even when I saw those initial grainy photos, I had big questions marks about it. As a responsible person, I'd have steered him well away from it and sharpish irrespective of how this business transaction went about. The initial photos showed overspray everywhere and a worn out interior. Alarm bells must have been ringing? I would have immediately suggested waiting for a better one and would have refused to go any further with it. That's before we even get on to the subject of how useless and incompetent the garage was that it was taken to before Jim rescued it. Appreciate this may have been different to your normal transactions but you still have to put your name to it and an element of responsibility still lies on your shoulders?

I'll give them a buzz tomorrow and see what sort of things they have on offer.

….plus maybe vendors could get involved. Maybe Jimmer, maybe the tuning company he uses. Maybe even a rolling road, a parade lap, BBQ. I am sure even a modest charge would help cover that. None of the shows in the US are laid on for free for example. Appreciate the market is different and so is the ownership base, but for the 30th anniversary, wouldn't it be awesome to have a big event with various things on to draw people in. Maybe even open it up to the ZClub also.

The 30th Anniversary Show Thread
They have all that available. I'm sure it'll cost a bit extra than Coventry, but if an awesome event is laid on for the 30th anniversary, I'm sure it'll attract more people and I am sure we can get one or other of the classic car magazines involved.

Something special for next year:https://rockingham.co.uk/venue-information/showground/ Silverstone would probably be too pricey, but Rockingham could work potentially?

Ash-Spec Inlet Manifold
That's a lot of money for a 50hp gain. If I was going full-retard on a crazy build, possibly, but I'd sooner keep the stock TB and enlarge the throttle housings.

Hazard switch
Does anyone have a spare hazard switch with known/tested illumination? I kinda wrecked mine trying to pull the bulb out which appears to either be soldered in or have a wedged bulb holder. These should illuminate when activated and there should also be a telltail 'glow' when the exterior lights are turned on. I don't need the actual button, just the switch. If it works and the above features still work, please let me know.
