Rusty Turrets...
Quite a lot of winter slime on those parts - looks like it's about to break out along the same and corners of the floor pan. I wouldn't personally.

Tapping after sat up for a while.
Tappets - the oil has drained out of them. It's something that happens to a lot of cars that are left for long periods. It'll be fine once up to temperature and the tappets have been purged.

need some advice...
Drivers wheel : could be anything from a worn strut top to shagged bushes - what suspension set up does it have? Speedo and PAS : The issues are one and the same. The PAS is speed sensitive, you're got a dry solder joint on the control board for the speedo so it'll intermittently can stop working - when it does, the PAS doesn't have a speed reading as it takes a direct feed from the dash. There's a how-2 on fixing it if you're dab hand with the soldering iron! No idea on the boost issue.

Start of the car season
So I keep getting told! I am in the midst of planning a long road trip in mine and just feel like I want to go and replace everything! Should be super smooooth!

Start of the car season
Car season is still a few months off for me, but I am starting to amass a load of parts as I am doing quite a comprehensive refresh of ALL the suspension bushing on my Z + single piece prop and maybe some 350z calipers all round.

A sad thread
Hi Mandy, I did know, but wanting to keep things up beat and as positive for as long as possible, especially whilst we were at the NEC back in November. You're very much an asset to the club and you're certainly held in high regard - an ambassador for the club! Long may you keep your strength and determination and I am sure any member of the club is standing by willing and able should you need it - that goes without question! If you ever need a talk, as always, just bung me a PM. Let's hope we can get you to some of the summer events!

New Job with Nissan
Yeah I know! I certainly will pop in! Might even be next week as I have a meeting in Swansea.

New Job with Nissan
Which dealership are you? I just bought an 8 month old Insignia SRi VX-Line as my new daily hack from Southern Vauxhall in Merthyr - Stewart was the guy that sold it to me, top fella.

zed as daily
Same here! Appreciate it all the more as a toy! I couldn't bring myself to drive it on the winter slime (might as well pelt it with rocks and throw battery acid all over it) and watch my paint work get wrecked and the underside go rotten. Can't use the power in the winter as well as traction is a LOT less...plus, this time of year is when all the Z32s seem to get involved in crashes.

- Stock tension rods and upper control arms (front)
Looking at reverting back to stock control arms and tension rods (something a little more forgiving) and fitting a 300Degree shim kit as my car isn't that low! My Powertrix suspension stuff is likely to be coming off and going up for sale. In the meantime, just wondering if anyone has all 4 pieces...or either one or the other? I don't care on condition as ALL the bushes will be replaced. I just want whatever you have, as long as it's not badly corroded as they'll be shot blasted and powercoated.- manual cams and gearbox with upgraded auto tubs
The turbos have a smaller impellor on auto gearbox configured cars allowing a quicker spooling time. It's just different due to the way the autobox delivers power. The autobox only has 4-speeds, so cams and turbos are different to create a different powerband for the changed gear ratios and reduction in number of gears.- Next step
Pre-92 Graham.- 99-spec window switches - an alternative?
Cheers Greg! Good work. Thanks for the headsup on facebook too! :)- Investing cash - anyone bought a franchise?
There's capital growth in most of Southern England at the moment, the closer to the Home Counties obviously the better.- Next step
For EVERYTHING, get rid of the BOVs!!!!!!- You gotta admire the chancers of this world...
Actually, the 300zx is in Clarkson's Top 100 cars, a book that came out in the late 90s, he's also a HUGE fan of the NSX and has been pretty complimentary of the GT-R, not to mention the earlier Skylines he's driven both in Clarkson's 'Motorworld' when he was in Japan and subsequently the R33 and R34 on Top Gear. Generally, high performance Japanese sports cars get a pretty decent welcome when they're on the TG.- You gotta admire the chancers of this world...
