Me too! Worked Christmas eve and back in today :mad: Not a happy bunny and severley hung over :hurl: Just want to be on my couch and under the duvet! Hi Rob, A & S signs 01226 270707 up north somewhere have made several sets of plates for me over the years both show plates & legal ones. They'll do exactly what you want (custom plate size or lettering) just give them the measurements looking at circa £10-15 for one plate and i think £25 for a pair usually deliver within 7 days. I drive it with my custom plates but always have a set of "proper" legal ones at home just in case i do get pulled so i can swap 'em over for the MOT producer doc. then switch em back :slap: Having said that only been pulled for my plates twice in 3 years ;) HTH James ;)

Wasn't planning on running her at all, doing a fair bit of maintenance work over the next couple of months (new Master Cylinder, brakes, PCV valves & hoses, full service etc.), hence my comment about droppping the sump off as she's been standing for 6 wks already.... Will it be ok leaving it till March? and any specific procedure for starting it again after 4 months of standing?.... Is that true about the fuel??? :confused:

Hey all, Anyone out there got any usefull tips i should know while my car is off the road for the winter & garaged till March? This is the first winter i've done this and other than the obvious of disconnecting the battery and leaving the handbrake off so the rears don't seize, what else should i do? Also, as it's due an oil change i was thinking about dropping the sump off next year (before i start & move it) draining it all off, replacing the sump gasket and topping up with fresh oil & filter? Any help or advice greatly appreciated ;) Cheerz James

What ever happens get it sorted asap!!! I left mine too long (kept on meaning to adjust it but never got round to it) and the belt eventually shredded and snapped @ 80 mph and took the other 2 with it :shock: Fortunately i noticed the battery light come on and temperature start to go up and pulled over immediatley before any damage done......
