Retrimmed Panels & Seats
Yep that's them ;) It's £175 for the seats to be delivered but DO NOT make the mistake i did and order the so called 'universal' subframes for an extra £50 :mac1: absolutely pile of sh**, about as much use as a chocolate teapot  The extra material to match the same colour as the seats you buy if i remember rightly is £10 per 2m x 1m sheet and he charges a £10 for delivery regardless of many sheets you order. I think i ordered 3 Blue and 1 Black and i've still got loads of blue left although hardly any balck, check with Dave and he'll tell you how you need. HTH :) James

Retrimmed Panels & Seats
Cheerz bud, as the width between the mounting holes on the new seats were wider than that of the old i had to get some mild steel folded brackets (also had them powder coated in black) made up to bring the width in so i could mount the original rails onto them not to difficult at all and have a man that can make 'em up pretty quickly, still got electric forward and backward motion on the drivers seat :D

Retrimmed Panels & Seats
Thanks for the comments guys, i really am over the moon and nice to know others appreciate my taste... ;) XAV2075 - i'd really rather not say as Dave did do me a good a deal as i ran them upto him and supplied my own material but lets put it this way i did shop around for prices and Dave was VERY competetive & the best ;) If you go on the website his number is on there and he'll sort you out a quote over the phone... HTH JaffaZ32 - Got the seats of Fleabay last year from a company in Holland running a special promotion - £200 Delivered  I also went back to them for the material to do the rears & all panels as i couldn't find anywhere over here that had the same colour match and they gladly supplied ;) Will try and find the invoice & get you the name or web link, i'm sure they're still trading. No i didn't need to replace any of the vinyl as it was all in vgc. Takemetothepub - I know! As i said at the bottom of the original thread it is definately next on my list already got the Boss just need to get the wheel that i've already found - Mountney with Blue inserts to match the rest of the car :p

Retrimmed Panels & Seats
Hey all, well after many months of my new seats sitting the spare room along with the extra alcantara material i had to order to get a perfect colour match for retrimming the remaining panels & back seats, i finally got round to stripping them all out and ran them upto Dave up at D2 Trimmers in Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire. I have to say i think he's done a wicked job  and for a very reasonalbe price too. After about a week they were ready to be collected but i couldn't get up there to collect them, so after handing over the cash to cover it Dave very kindly arranged for a courier to deliver them. Took me couple of weeks to getting round to fiiting them but finally managed it over the Bank Holiday weekend. I think they absolutely transform the car and am well pleased with the overall finish. I'd just like to thank Dave once again for his hard work and superb craftsmanship and would recommend him to any of you wanting any retrim work doing just visit http://www.d2trimmers.co.uk Just got to get round to fitting the new steering wheel & indiglow dials this wkd. Here's a few before and after pictures [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img]

Seats - sliding rails...
I'm thinking how the f**k did you manage that  So went back and had another look and your right the forward / back motor is attached to the rails but what i was panicing about and looking at was the reclining motors and thinking how the hell am i going to transfer that lot! :mac1: :slap: Doing my usual thing of rushing and then panicing when not going as expected (as is always the way witha Zed!) Thnaks again bud, you're a star for making me realising i'm a t**t :slap: and that i should really take more time ;)

Seats - sliding rails...
So close yet so far, having had all my panels retrimmed and having just refitted them went to put in my new front seats. I had to get some brackets made up to enable me use the original subframes as the 'universal' ones are about as useful as a choclate teapot. Anyway, attached the brackets and successfully transplanted the original rails from the passenger seat to the new one, got it in the car... All ok snug fit :hyper: :D Went to do the Drivers side... Completely different story, the mounting points are further apart - no problem i just modified the brackets BUT on removal of the original rails discovered that the motor and mechanisim is part of the original seat frame work :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal and although i might be able to get it all off, i can't see any way of being to transplant it onto my new seats :( The only way i can see round it is if i can locate a set of manual rails (passenger or drivers side) but am struggling to find some - have tried Ricerocket and Andy Z is on holiday for another week :headvswal Please help guys any other suggestions or help greatly received  James :(

Redundant AGAIN!
Can't believe it 2nd time i've been made redundant in a year! :( My new job was going really well, got on with everyone, really enjoyed it, been there 7 months just starting to make decent money in commissions. Lunchtime yesterday the MD walks in asks us all to go downstairs as she needs to have "a chat" with us all, get down there and we get introduced to a bloke from a corporate recovery company and he then tells us how the company has gone into receivership and he's dealing with the insolvency and as of that minute our contracts were terminated and we were all out of job & just to add insult to injury payday should have been today and we didn't get paid! We were then told we will be able to claim to get our basic monthly salary back (not including commission thats £2K to me) once the company have completed insolvancy but that will take 6-8 wks to get our money back. We were then escorted off the premises. F**kin W**kers :xxx: Needless to say all the staff had a few choice words  met down the pub got a completely sh*t faced. :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: Absolutely gutted, it's taken me & the mrs just about a year to get back on top of things we've just remortgaged to pay off the credits cards and debts, we got the wedding comin up in September and now we're back to square one AGAIN! Think i'll be taking a trip down the post office soon if not to cash a giro, do it over
