No Brakes!!!
Hey all, My car's been standing for about 3 wks and when i went to move her last night brake peddle went straight to the floor  The brakes did engage but only when peddle hit the floor :smash: I checked the fluid and it was low but still above the minimum in the reservoir, so toppped it up and pumped the pedal but still nothing and fluid level has dropped.......No visible signs of leaking fluid. Now this has happened once before, last year, same circumstances on returning from holiday but after a bit of driving and lots of pumping of the pedal then brakes did return and continued to work until last night. I'm suspecting possible seals in the master cylinder what d'ya reckon? I know it's a bit like how long's a pice of string but any ideas on how to rectify and the cost? Cheerz James

I'm back and married!
Retro620ti - Your right the women in our lives are generally expensive and now she's my wife will probably continue to cost me a fortune BUT my 300's accessories are more expensive than the wifes and has a bigger drink problem  Skylinedave -Didn't mean to keep quiet, it was just a bit last minute due to redundancy earlier this yr it was cancelled but then in July we decided just to do the best we can with what we've got and had a very small wedding and a lovely honeymoon :D How's the car running, have you sorted your smokin problem? Many thanks to all for your kind words & congrats :D

I'm back and married!
Hey all, Just wanted to say hi and explain why i have't been on the forum for some time. I finally married my gorgeous finacee of 5 years on Sept. 7th :smash: and as a consequence had all the preliminary stress prior to the wedding then disappeared for 3 wonderful weeks in Jamaica :D Absolute heaven didn't want to come back except i couldn't wait to land, pick up and drive my Fairlady again  . Although i've been back a week it's taken me that long to get over the Jet-lag and depression of being back! :hurl: Will post some pics next week when we get 'em.

Anyone here involved in music? Trance, Hip-hop, DrumnBass etc?
Hey bud, i'm well into my dance music but more the Event organisation and managment of... :D However a good friend of mine and colleague is a font of knowledge and does alot of producing on the dance and drum & bass side, his advice and thoughts are as follows: Good Software includes: Cubase SX – as this integrates with virtually all other software Sonic Foundry Soundforge – to “adapt” all those samples Native Komplete2 is also good and less of a download but I still wouldn’t attempt it on dial up! Recycle is also pretty good. Be aware that Reason is not VST compatible, so will not integrate with other music progs, such as Cubase. The whole marketing of this is that it is a standalone. It can still be midi’d up but you won’t have the connectivity that a VST compatible piece of software gives you. Also be aware that the quality of your samples will REALLY influence the overall “workability” of a song. I often record a demo of the song I’m doing with “rough” samples of 1MB to 2MB until it is complete and then add the proper 8MB to 16MB samples once I’m happy. As these are so huge they tend to sap your computer’s resources, hence fannying around with smaller samples in the first instance. I usually take the large samples and work them in Soundforge until they become manageable. There’s not that much of a difference when listening on anything other than studio quality monitors or top of the range cans. Also, when you finally export the finished tune into a playable tune (mp3 or Wav) you will get a slight degradation in quality and the larger the file is to start with will reflect the final mix-down and export. I’ve got some songs that are 40+MB once initially mixed down!! I then do a final mix to make them circa 4MB. Hope this helps. Oddjob hope that helped ;) .... please feel free to email him directly at: john.ryan2@btinternet.com James

Santa Pod 24/25th June
I really wanted to go but seriously put off by having to park in the public car park (especially as quite a few of cars got stolen and broken into last year!) Plus the fact we don't have a stand :( what's going on with the club  as someone has said this is by far the best Jap event other than JAE and we should be there representing the car we know and love! How do i go about getting on the Banzai stand?
