  1. Good lad, enjoy you self buddy but be careful on those roads
  2. Looks like you will get a "bit" of rim protection from the wider one so less likely to get kerb damage from a light brush with a kerb
  3. I saw these on ebay too , i really fancy one
  4. Ive owned 3 mk2 2.8 supras in the past and loved owning and driving them. Super smooth straight 6 bullet proof too only ever replaced tyres and exhaust on them . All 3 were very reliable and actually quite easy to work on too, unlike the Z!. Id have another tomorrow if i could find a nice rust free example.
  5. Congrats matey, i look forward to organising a few meets with you, the blackpool lights weekend was a top meeting this year , all are welcome to the 2014 one and Lake Z will be a top event too. A borders meeting is a great idea maybe a run to Gretna Green ?

  12. Well we are i beleive on the home straight engine work pretty much done and hopefully back in the car by now, Lee tells me he's jet washed and repainted parts of my engine bay so im a giddy kipper at the moment waiting for a collection date. From whats been found it looks like ive never had the pleasure of driving my car in fighting fit trim so i cant wait to drive it now its all sorted. The two engine mounts literally torn in half were a real eye opener ill tell you !!
  13. I think your next install should be a flux capacitor not a new bosch heavy duty battery buddy
  14. I love the fast and loud boys......ass monkey ha ha
  15. I have mine with Heritage well under £300 on classic limited miles
  16. Shame these Group A cars got banned they were proper beasts, however as much as I love the cars of this ere in rallying its still a metro, when you consider the others around at the time SWB Quattro, RS200 etc the phrase " you cant polish a turd" springs to mind. Mind you I used to own a metro when I was young and it was a hateful thing so my judgement may be clouded ????
  17. Pretty much, load more to go on yet, he did say we will need a bit more though.
  18. Lee is going to freshen the paint on the power steering pump and the crank pulley, i have to say he is very thorough watched the guys cleaning modding and repainting various pipes and assemblies during the deletes they do a great job if your looking for someone to do work on your zed you wont go far wrong with Lee
  19. Yes he kept us well fed and watered
  20. I popped down to Lee Dents place with 300zx_666 yesterday, thanks for driving Ian, to see how my car was progressing. Engine was removed to do a number of jobs but is now nearly ready to go back in. Found a number of problems from 2 destroyed engine mounts to melted and bypassed knock sensor, however important stuff like compression test and injector readings were all ok. Thanks Lee for the tea and butties, your doing a fantastic job
  21. Its still on my radar guys just busy with our new house at the moment.
  22. House of Kolor do a chrome paint, you can get it in airbrush size pots but you will need a spray gun or airbrush to apply it. It does give a good result though, quality paint.
  23. Pass them off as coffee mats
  24. Welcome fella, and as you said in your earlier post, don't be scared shitless of it, just drive it with respect and care. remember there's a lot of power going through those back wheels so if its wet....leave it at home.
