which is the best v8 donor to use
Chevy LS engine from a corvette, readily available and the USA boys probably have a good tech "how to" already written as well. LS crate motors are easy to get hold of as are 2nd hand units. If you want to see what is possible have a look at Nelson Race Engines site they twin turbo charge the small block and big block motors and get silly horsepower from them.

Im pretty sure we can find a local B&B or hotel that can accommodate us mate, I was thinking of the Swan Hotel on the road in, near the bottom of Windemere. Ill have a look round / contact the local tourist board office etc.

Lets support LakeZ 2014 Friday 27th June - Sunday 29th June
Hi Guys & Gals As I look forward to getting my Zed back from fettling and to the 2014 season the Lake Z event to me seems like a really good event to attend. I recon the North West and Wales crews could put up a good list of attendee's and make it a weekend to remember. Firstly its FREE if you want to camp but im sure that for those who prefer creature comforts I could look into finding B&B accommodation for those that want it. So lets get a stick in the sand now and start a list of those interested, we can then organise a convoy up there, I know that road well & its a nice drive. Live Music, Hog Roast, show & shine, dedicated parking etc all for free, just have to find your beer and petrol money, im defo in. 1. Ian Greenfield 2. Rolandas 3. 300zx_666 4. Ian_300zx 5. t.mogsy (maybe)

any diesel experts on here
Its my understanding that the glow plugs only ignite the fuel on start up, conmbustion is maintained by compressing the fuel air mixture during the piston stroke. Did you change the auto box fluid and filter at service, check yr Ac pump isn't jammed on etc, im no expert but i don't think its the plugs however with winter approaching id change them anyway.

Mass produced cars that are now rare
I used to have a Celia Supra 2.8i, loved it, they do turn up on ebay in good nick occasionally they were really bad for rust in the rear wheel arch and boot lid. Ive not seen one on the road for many years now. A good mate of mine has a too.black Manta GTE coupe with 34k on the clock in his centrally heated garage its near showroom condition too.

99 Spec Reverse Light Panel Copy - Better Than OEM !!
Yep Guilty as charged, I collared the first one, its currently in my spares stash till my car comes back from lee dent. I can confirm that these panels are superb, the red is similar but brighter and better in my opinion than the 99 oem version. When lit up it looks the bizz and Mr plod friendly too. I have a gen 99 oem one fitted and will be changing it for Andy's version very soon Coz it looks factory but lights up too so best of both words, you wont be dissapointed if you get one.

Zedless for a while
It looks great from 5 feet away but get up close to it and there are areas that need attention, the guy who sprayed it in japan has half arsed it in places, ie door shuts are flat white not pearl like the body, boot shut and bonnet underside is the same which really p#$$es me off. I am building a car to take to shows and drive so the paint has to be right, the pearl white has grown on me in the 2 years ive had it but my uncle had a candy apple red corvette and i loved that colour, ive seen Luke Borgs car up close and i love that colour so ive looked at House Of Kolors range and i quite fancy the Brandywine red , i just have to find a painter whos is prepared to do it and do it to show standard. If i was to keep it the same pearl white i would make it a brighter , blue tint pearl. But im leaning towards the red right now.
