  1. I aquire this from a chap in Manchester recently I have to say I've never seen another one have you guys?
  2. Just watched the vid, wow that it loud mate sounds like a diesel taxi. Nearest guy to you I trust is Lee Dent. 2.5 hours from you at least. What's your oil pressure like?
  3. Yes the tyre lettering is great and will look the part when you fit your firebird decal to the bonnet Lee. Yeeee Haaaaaaw
  4. Absolutely, I have an agreed value certificate with Heritage, you send them pics and a description of the car and mods etc, if they agree you get a cert with the agreed value printed on it. In the event of a claim theres no arguments. You can also resubmit at any time to get a revised valuation should things change. I will also be seeking an agreed valuation for Zebedee because should the worst happen I know its going to cost me more to replace "him" compared to what I paid. At present my insurance co will only consider the purchase price so I need to address that soon. Ive joined the Zclub and will pay subs as they offer a valuation service to all paid up members.
  5. I personally like to use ZX1 as well, I know that others don't condone the use of additives in oil but ive used it for years in nearly all my cars and found it does quieten things somewhat and at £25 ish its not too expensive either
  6. The std oil recommendation is a 10w 40 semi synthetic mate.
  7. Gun metal so you can see them thru the wheel but not in your face.
  8. I'm defo coming looks like a nice number on show too. I'm looking forward to this one for sure.
  9. I just checked the clock on my 98 version R and the digits are white. So its either that way from the factory or its been replaced at some point, who knows.
  10. I don't mind mate I'm near Rochdale I work in heywood so can pop over after work maybe.
  11. That's great Paul the more the merrier.
  12. I have several Apexi filters squirelled away in my secret stash I might do a comparison on the Butt Dyno one day.
  13. Yep unplug and unbolt one install and plug in the replacement, simples. I could pop over with it one evening if you like.
  14. Again I have a known good maff you can borrow and try if you need to.
  15. TOTB is fast approaching and its time to start pulling together who will be on the club stand too. I already have Bird and Tmogsy as takers so who else wants to park their zed on our stand. Crack is you will pay your usual £10 entry fee, (if you only attend sunday), and instead of parking in the public car park you will be allowed down the pit lane to the area by the handling course to park with the other clubs. So you are right in the thick of all the action. The 300zx team will no doubt be on pit lane like last year. So the list for the club stand is 1. Bird 2. Tmogsy 3. PaulZX 4.
  16. Quick Update on Trax 2015 If I can get 5 people to buy tickets the guys on the 350z forum will extend their stand to allow us to attend. Tickets are £19 for the club stand and you book and pay for your track time independently. I looked on the web site and currently there are 70 Novice slots available throughout the day. I need numbers on this quickly as the kind chap on the 350 site needs to know ASAP. So is there any takers to join me on the 19th July.
  17. So she's all ready for Trentham Gardens then Graham ???
  18. I would get some of that WD40 electrical connector cleaner from screwfix or the like and when you clean all your connections it helps get the shite off and gives them a bit of protection when you put em back together.
  19. Bling....Stunning Si and will only get even better im sure as you find those little niggly bits to sort out. Meantime mate well done.
  20. What sites are you guys looking at for these, please share
  21. Come down anyway and put some names to faces
  22. Im all booked in Same deal as Gray 30 laps. Pete what time you planning on getting there ? we could meet and convoy in?
  23. It is a tight area, you might be better taking the seat out to work on it. If you are really struggling I might be able to pop over and give you a hand one evening, we can scratch our heads together. Get some platic sheet and tape it over the targa's to stop more water getting in if your car is outside. Or get on of those half car covers from halfrauds.
