  8. Yes indeed Lee and just to add to that if the seller insists on payment through Western union never listen to the excuses they give for not using PayPal instead. Western union payments are certainly always a scam just walk away.

  10. You are welcome Chris like I said I know how I would feel if that was my car, chin up fella it will all come right in the end.
  11. Outside painting his tyre letters and a confederate flag on the bonnet of his zed
  12. Chrome parts are now SOLD  Thank you. Ill post a few more bits when I can find em.
  13. You raise a valid point there Si, the conditions at Ten of the Best are as you know just a wide open concrete area and cones however you are still required to wear a crash helmet to compete. You are also issued with a temporary motorsport competition licence on the day. Difference is TOTB is a pay to enter event, the Nissan one was a private event on private land do completely different rules. From what I remember I believe the passengers had to sign a disclaimer don't know about the drivers though. Gary I don't believe you can take out track day insurance as a single policy type its classed as racing I guess. However my policy with Heritage covers me for ONE track day or hill climb event per year. Guess it just depends on your insurer.
  14. Looks like both the balance bar and PAS Pot are provisionally sold  Here's as few pic's of the reason why I'm doing this, I know how I would feel if this had happened to me. As you can see its substantial damage but repairable so lets help save this zed guys.
  15. This was a departmental event fella, the only people who attended were those from the parts division of Nissan not the whole of Nissan uk. There were maybe a couple of hundred people there max consisting of employees and family members.
  16. Theres nothing like the sound of a Merlin V12 on full song, Legendary British Engineering for sure and a well deserved place in the history books.
  17. With Neal weighing in we now have 5, ill let TOTB admin know we now have a team entry. Stop the press, Bobgenie id in the eurospec team so doesn't count. Where Noz when you need him
  18. It says in the news paper report its a replica, the nose is all wrong and the cockpit screen doesn't look even close to correct, can see the wing shapes but the tail is the only part that looks vaguely correct.
  19. I believe Neal Weyman is competing too so our list isn't too bad after all. But the question remains "WHERE THE HELL IS NOEL UHURE"
  20. But a replica spitfire, and not a great looking one either
  21. I got the same issue with Zebedee as well however Heritage Insurance put it on a limited mileage performance car policy £240 . My white zed is on a classic policy with them as well.
  22. I know how I would have felt if it had been my car so im more than happy to try and help.
  23. Right guys and girls, some of you may be aware that a few of us were invited by Nissan to a private track based event hosted by Nissan at Donnington Park on Sat just gone. The event saw some of us on static display and some kind souls offering to give hot laps round a track to the Nissan employees in their cars. Now Chris kindly offered this and bearing in mind he did this entirely out of his own good will, no payment was received. Unfortunately Chris's day did not go too well and to cut a long story short his car ended up with significant rear quarter damage. I have to say I am gutted for Chris and he took it very well on the day but having had some time to think and knowing Chris's situation I feel I am duty bound as a club member to help him to get back on the road as soon as soon as possible seeing as all the repair bill will have to come out of his own pocket. So on that note I have a few things in my parts stash that I will be putting up for sale and giving the proceeds to Chris to help out. 1st item is a fully chromed balance bar, freshly chromed no marks or scratches, £60 posted 2nd item is a Chromed TT PAS Pot £50 posted. I have some more stuff ill put up later when I've had a delve about. The prices are not negotiable a. because I'm selling them for what they cost me and b. its for a good cause. I'm not going to elaborate any further on the circumstances but ill leave it to Chris to comment further if he want to. So here's a chance to get some bling for your car and to help a member out big style.
  24. So now where can I get my hands on some 100 Ron race fuel by the weekend ??
