  1. Not Bad, could be worse mines named after a man who is half spring and half moustache.
  2. Myself, Beth, Phutumsch and Coopd will be convoying down early Friday afternoon. Anyone wanting to join the convoy are more than welcome we will be coming from the North West M62-A1.
  3. Welcome aboard and yes its a very well known car on here used to be Gruntpa's before Spin Doctor owned it. Congrats on your purchase that's a very nice example you have there but looking forward to your progress reports.
  4. bring out the gimp, can you get a matching ball gag too.
  5. Check it hasn't come loose mine lost the bottom bolt completely .
  6. Glad it sorted Lee would have been a right bummer if it had stopped you coming to JAE.
  7. I have to say Andy your car sounded awesome as you left mine the other day. You can hear those new turbos whistling nicely .
  8. Problem is the cap and the stem are made from different metals so when they get moisture between them galvanic corrosion occurs and the two almost fuse together. Last time I fitted ally valve caps to a car I had to destroy the valves to get the caps off. I won't fit ally caps to a car again. I guess if you put something like lithium grease on the threads it might stop it happening
  9. Once its in your blood Trish you are doomed
  10. I like to help when I can guys
  11. No worries mate if I can't get them machined then at least you will have a 3d model to go get it printed.
  12. I recon you could 3d print that but you would have to spend some time with the old filler and sand paper to get it smooth. Do you have access to a 3d CAD system? If not if you send me one ill model it up for you and our cnc guys might be able to machine it for you.
  13. So are you talking about the whole red nut and the badge?
  14. Can anyone lend you an ecu to check lee.
  15. They ran a few on Sat but not on Sunday in the main event.
  16. Cant wait to see this car at TEN OF THE BEST next year, the GTO boys have been talking smack on facebook, your car should shut them up.

  18. I agree with Gary Unless you are keen to do the work yourself, the repair panels are available. however as Tom says that arch is bad if the sills are the same its going to be a massive job. To be honest id leave it where it is. If you are after a good clean NA I know Lee Dent has one with a freshly refurbed engine, low miles no rust and not expensive either drop him a PM on here.
  19. I'm going to eventually but I'm gonna make these at work tomorrow as a temp fix.
