  1. If your PTU is a box shape with alloy fins on top its and S1, S2's are thinner and smooth. Heres a thread with useful write up in it from Jeff http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?156487-targa-drains&highlight=front+targa+drains
  2. I might have a spare s1 ptu lying about ill have a look later.
  3. Its a very straight forward rewire job, there is a sub harness available for it to convert from the older type PTU.
  4. It could be one of a number of things but a dry ECU has to be a priority. Check and clean the Maff connection though if its wet or corroded then it can cause issues. Have you checked the usual suspects PTU connections, water temp to ecu connection etc.
  5. Airflow meter circuit could be water in the maff connection under the nose panel get some WD40 on it and give the contacts a good clean. The drivers side front targa drain appears in the space behind fusebox behind the kick panel on the drivers side. Im not sure but this may be the case on the passenger side too, if so its likely to be behind the block of relays you will see if you remove the kick panel. If the tube has popped off, as they can do, then you need to effect a repair to get them watertight again. Also give Lee a buzz he will be able to guide you.
  6. I've got a JWT pop charger on my white zed. Very good and has a washable element I use the K&N cleaner and oiling spray on it it work a treat. Replacement elements are cheap enough too.
  7. No problem but you do realise if I crash my car it's your fault coz now ill be trying too hard.
  8. We could end up with a couple of spare tickets Chris we usually do, I'm sure Rich will respond.
  9. Pete I'm all for a bit of friendly banter mate but that comments not appreciated. You will find I stop laughing real quick when someone has a pop at my weight.
  10. Just happen to have a set of these lying about....time to mod I think.
  11. Ha Ha :wheelchair: more like
  12. Good man Graham, guess I should book in then ????
  13. Looking nice and fresh now Si but it is never ending, I have a massive list even for zebadee. Minor thing for me, I got the hybrid wipers, like the look on the front but hate the look on the rear screen so I went back to the old skool type on the back, just my preference ! See you at Lake Z mate, looking forward to it.
  14. There was a group but of his 99 spec headlight inserts recently so he is about
  15. Not made my mind up yet it's on stock jap alloys so doesn't handle as well as Zeb
  16. Cheeky sod still gonna kick your arse at TOTB
  17. So what's the crack with UK front seatbelts, are they longer than jap ones to accommodate us more portly chaps. I find my jap belts on the snug side was going to send them away for refurb and extending a little.
  18. Happy Birthday old bean
  19. Nice to see you back on track Dan.
  20. Been up a couple of days I'm going to go look at this as it's not far from me not particularly interested in buying it but I can a appraise it for you guys .
  21. Sorry to hear that mate but I doubt the police will be interested.
  22. Dan if you want to see weight saving then look at Pete's car. Minimalist is the word. Carbon boot lid too I believe. So far from stock
  23. So was the pullet hole too big or too small?
